The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 288- New Training (2)

That said, before Kevin could even cover one third of the distance to the stele.

BANG… a fierce gale blew, pushing and blowing him before he could even use the ability of his sword. After rolling on the ground a couple of times, he finally came to a stop.

"As you can see, that's what happens when you try to run towards the stele. We will need to rethink and change our approach".

"Senior Silvia, please don't use me as an example to prove your point".

"Hmph, who told you to run headfirst without listening to me? Anyways, now you know we can't just approach the stele without plan" Silvia brushed her hair and then stated. "Here is what we are gonna do".

After listening to her, everyone looked at her with doubt.

"How did you come up with this kind of plan?" Vangeance questioned.

"You need to be more aware of your surroundings. Learn and pick things from what others are trying. If they fail, you will learn from their mistakes. If they succeed, you will know what the correct path is".

The former nodded. "Then we just have to wait right?"

And so Silvia's group, instead of mindlessly running and spamming their skills at the gale protecting the stele, stood in their tracks without doing anything. It was not only them, a few sharp witted ones also did the same after noticing what Silvia was trying to accomplish.

In the distance, Reinhardt smiled in an approving manner after seeing some of his most promising knights understand the first part of the training at least. Learn and adapt.

Time passed by, and soon some of the knight groups fell on the ground, tired and exhausted. Well, why wouldn't they? After all, they have been spamming their skills and butting heads with the gale force protecting the stele.

By now, even if they were True Knights, they were exhausted.

After seeing many of the groups get defeated one after the other, Silvia nodded her head, coming to some form of understanding.

"Did you find anything after watching them?"

At Delicia's question, Silvia nodded her head. She then looked at the boys who were marvelling at the valiant efforts of their friends and comrades.

"Well, I already know I cannot rely on them to come up with any information". Saying that, she placed her attention on the two other females in the team.

"Tell me what you two found. Then, we'll match it with what I have realised. If our information matches even just the slightest, then know that we have found a clue".

And so, the three girls got into exchanging information and making plans on how to complete the training that the commander gave them.

Meanwhile, the boys were also having their own discussion, but not on the matter related. They were discussing who was the most valiant and who reached he closest to the stele.

"I'm telling you, it's got to be Jarred. In terms of strength, he is pretty strong. Of course, not as strong as me," Vangeance thundered.

Matching his energy, the boy hollered too. "You are not seeing clearly. It's not just about raw strength, but also about how long they endure the storm. It's got to be senior Bernard".

"Well, the Commander said that we either need to touch the stele ourselves or at least our attacks to reach it. In that case, the winner here should be Senior Jake".

All three of them had varying opinions and could not come to a conclusion that all of them were satisfied with.

"Stop spouting nonsense for the moment and come listen to the plan." The three men were then dragged by an angry Silvia, who grabbed them by the scruff of their necks.

"Does everyone know their own roles?" A couple of minutes later, having finished telling everyone about their plan, she asked if they were ready.

"Yeah, let's do this. Let's reach the Stele and show the Commander the results of our training." Vangeance was all eager to go. Just as he stepped forward, he was held back.

"Didn't you listen to my plan? It's not the time yet," Sivlia spoke, her eyes looked at the other teams.

After recovering some of their stamina, many of them stood up to give it another chance. They stepped into the range of the gale force and charged towards the stele, using various skills and techniques they had incorporated in their plan.

BANG… wind surged and ten powerful gales brewed, charging towards the ten teams.

At that instant…

"Now!!" Silvia swiftly spoke up, not missing the opportunity. Her team quickly sprang into action.

Silvia and her team's sudden movement attracted quite a lot of attention. As this team not only had many unique members, it also had a high ranking level 7 knight leading them.

Silvia's reputation and talent was highly admired by all the knights of the Temple of Light. As such, when she made her move, she naturally drew attention.

It was the same for Reinhardt too; the team she led comprised of incredible people who had the potential of becoming the pillar of the order in the future. Obviously, he wanted to know what they were on about.

"Oh?" And lo and behold, they really were among the best teams there was in his order, having found the loophole in the training system.

At this moment, Silvia and her team were rushing towards the stele at an incredible speed. Leading at the forefront was Delicia, with everyone following right behind her back.

The formation they made was like a straight arrow that was notched with the intention to pierce its mark.

Just as they crossed a certain distance, the gale force brew. However, because it had just thrown ten berserk gales at the ten other teams right at this moment, it took time for the gale force to gather the wind, allowing Silvia and the others to cover a distance that was a record set in comparison to all the other teams.
