Black looked at the sun high above!! His gaze squinted!!

'So bright!! ... '

Presently He was standing on one of the platforms in the Arena!!

Dressed in an obsidian-black suit with golden outlines!! His shoulder-length white hair untied; shimmering like the brilliant threads of destiny!!

A glint in his eyes!!

They gleamed with the luminesce of a newborn nebulous star!! His presence!! – Sharp!! Unnatural!! Almost Ethereal!!

Black stood out like a sore thumb in the platform He was standing on!!

No doubt!!... There were many eyes on him!!

But considering every platform was two-hundred meters wide!! Therefore there weren't that many people who noticed him!!

The platform sure was spacious but was still packed with people after all! The crowd was very massive too!! The whole Arena was abuzz with chatter!!

Black imagined that there where atleast more then five-hundred individuals who came to participate in this tournament!!

As for the public in the stands! He didn't even want to count it! But he still got the answer through his partial-omniscint!!

His mind reeled!!

'Damn!! ... there are more then a hundred thousand people here who came to watch this tournament!! ... '

He was indeed shocked by the numbers but also entertained nonetheless!! Aside from being uncomfortable too! By the noises made by these people!!

The profanity was everywhere!! People were shouting, cursing!! And whatnot!!

He shut his mind! His gaze travelled towards the section where his VIP room was located!! He looked at the mirror-glass!!

Though Black could not see them! He sure knew that certainly wasn't the case for his maids and his primordial's!!

'Do you find anything interesting amongst these people My serpent!? ... '

Black panned his gaze!!

Surveying his surrounding with apparent curiosity!! He had never seen so many people gathered in one place in his entire life of 19 days!!

'Fascinating!! Isn't it!!'

'It sure is!!~~ ' Zephyr responded with a giggle!!

'As for what you asked previously My Love!!~~ ... I'm glad to inform you that there indeed is something very interesting!! ... '

'In fact that individual is in your platform itself!!~~ ... '

"Hoo!! Who could it be!!" Black whispered! His lips curled! His curiosity piqued by the serpents cunning words!!

His bright gaze moved from participants to participants present on his platform!!

However from what Black could make out!!... There wasn't anyone past Ascension Level 81 here!!

His gaze narrowed!!

'Light Elf! Dark Elf! Magical Beast! Human! And even a Mist Demon!! ... Hmm!! ... I don't see anyone worth my notice here!!?'

His lips twitched!! 'You playing with Me serpent!!'

'No! She is not Dear!!~~ ' Elly voiced! Her tone amused!!

'You can't see that individual because He is standing opposite to You!! More specifically at the opposite edge of the platform!!'

'Ah!!!'

Black blinked!! 'That so!!'

'He is also a Flame Elf!! A student at the Greenwood Academy!! He is a genius! An elite in the Ascension Rank 8 batch of the students!!"

'He is also one of the 4 members who are in the S-class of the corresponding Ascension Rank!!~~ ... '

'Zid Flamehart is the heir to the Flamehart Family!! A Family with Five rank Two Pseudo-Divine's!! He is also quite feisty like the Flames He commands!!~~ ... '

'Not to mention The Flames of the Flamehart Family are better known for there aspects of melting Metal and incinerating Lightening itself!!~~ ... '

Elly continued and gave a brief introduction regarding the other three members of the S-class for rank eights too!!

Black smiled!!

'Now isn't that interesting!! Flames incinerating Lightening and melting Metal!! That the first I've heard something about it!!'

'Zid Flamehart!! I'll see how strong this feisty boy actually is!!'

Black refocused his gaze towards the mirror-glass of his VIP room!! ... 'Anyway is there anyone else you found interesting aside from these four!?'

'Well!!~~ ... '

Zephyr began!! Her serpentine eyes squinted! Examining the platforms!! 'There is that Darkness Spirit who was dueling previously!!~~ ... "

'That Drake Darkbane guy!!.. Yes! He is on the platform adjacent to you with that Human named Lynn! The one He was dueling with!!~~ ... '

While Zephyr began introducing Black with anyone she found interesting!! On one of the platforms stood four masked figures!!

Three Male and one Female!!

They had there faces covered with a plain looking pitch-black mask with there heads hidden by the black hoodie of there again black coats!!

Furthermore the confusing thing was that there masks had no eyesockts or even hole for them to breath!!

How they could 'see' despite that was a mystery known only to them!!

"Did you see the target!?" One of the Man asked in a low voice!! The other three looked at him!!

There Leader!!

"No we did not!! ... Leader S!!" Someone!! A Male responsed!!

"That's troubling!! Indeed!! ... If we can't find 'em! Then how 're we supposed to complete Master's mission! Leader S!! ... Hmmm!! ... "

"From our informants!! Master did find out that after killing that Evergreen Knight!! That individual was seen teleporting to the Academy with that Elf girl!!~~ ... "

The Female with a voice like a mermaids twirled her deep-voilet strands!! Her head focused on her Leader!!

"However are you sure that our target is indeed participating in this pathetic tournament! Leader S!!~~ "

A question of a melodious voice!!

"He is!!" S nodded!! "Master confirmed that!!"

"Still Leader!! Exactly who is this Mortal!! I've never seen Master so restless before!! He was behaving as though his very life was about to come to an absolute end!!"

"Yeah Leader!! I also don'th like Master sending geniuses like O'selves to kill but an Ascension Level seventy-five Mortal!!.. Tsk!! ... "

"Do not question My Masters words you fools!!"

S raised his voice a notch louder! His tone enraged!! The three individuals on hearing him: shivered!!

There heads lowered!!

"He was restless or not doesn't matter!! What matters is us obeying his orders with absolute!! ... And I mean with an absolute obedience!!"

"Do you three understood!! Nod once if you do and twice if you do not!!"

The three nodded once: simultaneously!!

There expressions grim behind there pitch-black mask!! 'Like Hell we do not!! We don't want to die for a mere curiosity and a slight dissatisfaction!!'

S too nodded!!

"Anyways just for context!! That so called Mortal that you three are disdaining!! Is an individual who was born just three weeks ago!!"

"And He is already at Ascension Level 75!! I don't know how that is possible! How can an existence who is clearly an adult not even be 20 days old!?"

"Regardless!! ... I don't care either!! Master didn't see it necessary to inform us why!! Meaning our only job is to kill him!! Therefore that is what we'll do!!"

"Understood!!"

The three figures nodded again!! There expressions hidden behind there black-masks!! Known only to them!!

On another platform!!

"Leader Ray!!.. "

Lim voiced out of the blue garnering Ray Warner's attention!! "Hmm!! ... What happened!! Why the sudden- "

"Leader Ray look there!!" Lim pointed, cutting Ray mid-sentence!!

He furrowed his brows clearly displeased by his subordinates brazen actions regardless Ray still looked where Lim was pointing at!!

His black eyes narrowed!! "What is it!?"

"Leader not on our platform!! Look at the one I'm pointing at! Do you see that tall Man dressed in black! The Man with white hair and golden eyes!!"

Hearing Lim's description and suggestion!! Ray focused his gaze on the mentioned Man and immediately became stunned!!

He gritted his teeth!!

'This bastard!! ... What is he doing here in the Academy!!' His gaze turned cold!! As he asked!!

"Is this bastard also a student at the Academy Lim!? What is he doing here!?"

Lim blinked! He coughed!!

"Leader don't you remember!! That to participate in this tournament one necessarily doesn't have to be a student at the Academy!!"

He scratched his head awkwardly!!

Ray looked at his subordinate! His eyes wide for a moment! But he quickly composed himself!!

"Anyways!! That bastard aside where is Selina!? She isn't here with Me!!" He asked with amusement!!

Lim became serious!! "Leader! Lady Selina is on a different platform for!! ... Um!!... Un!!... You know!!... because!! ... "

Observing the again awkward expression of his subordinate!!

Ray waved his hand!! "Forget it!! Let her enjoy her time while she can!! I'll deal with her thoroughly when it's time!!"

Afterwards He stretched his body with a Yawn!!

'For now I'll deal with this commoner!! He thinks he can live after making my Selina blush for him! Something she had never done for me!!'

Ray's gaze soon focused on the commoner again!! His fists clenched in a maddening anger!!

His cold eyes menacing when He remembered that disgusting face Selina made when she saw him for the first time!!
