My Ultimate Sign-in System Made Me Invincible

Chapter 254: Upgrade And Expansion

After exiting the game, Liam and his friends took off their smart glass and sighed softly collectively.

Liam smiled to himself, as he saw the look of silent reminiscence on his friends' faces. He knew that they were still thinking about the games.

"Wow. That was amazing," Matt muttered.

"It was. Today would definitely top the list on my favourite day ever," Kristopher chuckled.

The others nodded, echoing the sentiment. Today was a very enjoyable day for them. They had no idea that gaming can be so much fun. But they knew that this was only possible because it was Lucid.

"Sir, dinner's ready," the head maid informed Liam.

It was already nighttime in the real world, just as it was in the game world before they were logged out. The head maid and the other two maids had already prepared dinner, and were only waiting for Liam, and his friends to finish gaming.

"Thank you, Madeline," Liam said, as he stood up from the couch.

"Come on, guys," he said, before walking to the dinning table for dinner.

"Even though I didn't do anything, I feel so hungry," Matt said, as he stood up from the couch and also walked to the dining table.

The rest of the group nodded, stood up and walked to the dining table.

Liam and his friends took their seats, with smiles on their faces. The day really been an enjoyable one for them and they felt very fulfilled.

After they were seated, the maids started serving the meal.

"Liam, guys, we girls recorded our shopping experiences in Terra and wants to upload it on our accounts on the platform," Elise said, as the maids served the meal.

"That's a good idea," Liam nodded.

"Really?" She asked in surprise.

"Yeah. You can post," Liam said in confirmation.

"Thanks. We will upload the videos tomorrow," Elise said with a bright smile on her face.

Liam understood why Elise asked him first before she and girls upload the videos. They are worried about attracting attention to Liam and their group, especially with how much attention the world has on Lucid and Nova Technologies. And also with the fact that governments around the world probably already profiled the 1,000 Lucid users.

But Liam wasn't worried. He was sure that there was no way they would link anything to him and his friends. Besides, they never used their real names.

He smiled to himself, as he and his friends ate their meal quietly with smiles also on their faces. After they were done, they decided it was time to go to bed.

"Thanks for the meal, Madeline," Liam and his friends greeted, as they stood up from the table and went to their rooms.

Liam stepped into his room and walked to the bed. He plopped on it with a soft sigh. The day has been very relaxing for him. He turned to the window and he saw the beautiful view of Dubai. It was almost no different from the view in Terra's Dubai.

Liam wasn't ready to sleep yet or go to the magical alternate Earth, as he still has something he needs to do first.

What he wanted to do was upgrade Lucid's integrated marketplace. He planned to transform it into a virtual city called The Hub

It would be something that would connect every player, every game, every experience under one unified space. And also integrate the platform to it.

The idea was simple in concept but vast in scope: a virtual city the size of an entire world, that would serve as the core of Lucid's ecosystem. Not just a menu, or a simple marketplace, but a living, breathing digital metropolis.

A shopping district the size of Earth.

And every player who logged into Lucid would spawn there by default. It would be the center of everything. It would become a bridge between realities, where players could meet, trade, create, and share before diving back into their individual game worlds.

The Hub would be divided into five primary sections, each representing a major game:

1. Terra Sector – a modern, Earth-like cityscape filled with skyscrapers, neon-lit cafés, bustling malls, and sleek corporate towers.

2. Eternal Realms Plaza – floating gardens, magical marketplaces, glowing runic pathways, guild halls, and ancient temples.

3. Genesis District – a boundless sandbox zone where players could exhibit their own creations—custom races, worlds, and inventions—like a living museum of imagination.

4. Frontline Command (Starfall Dominion) – a futuristic expanse of hangars, starports, mech bays, and war academies that connected to interstellar battlegrounds.

5. Sportverse Arena Zone – a sprawling colosseum network for every sport imaginable.

There will also be an upgrade to the sport games, as it would not just be basketball and football, or soccer as it's known by others.

Each sector of The Hub would be enormous—at least the size of Alaska—and would evolve as more players joined.

Every sector would have cafés, stores, lounges, and travel systems that could instantly teleport players anywhere within the Hub—or back to the games they came from.

There would be two types of stores:

Personal stores, which players or guilds could buy or rent to sell in-game items, gear, or even digital art.

The Grand Market, a massive rent-free zone where anyone could post goods directly through the platform, making trade universal and accessible.

The rent system wasn't just for profit—it was preparation. When guilds, corporations, and even governments began entering Lucid's ecosystem, they'd need physical space within the virtual world. This would give them that structure without breaking the economy.

He wanted the Hub to feel like more than just a system. It had to feel alive.

Players would see crowds, ambient conversations, AI vendors, and digital billboards streaming live content from Lucid's global platform. Streamers could go live, creators could film inside the Hub, and players could take photos or videos directly through the Lucid interface.

That was the next step: integrating the Hub with the Nova Platform itself.

Lucid wasn't just going to be a gaming device anymore—it was becoming a self-contained universe.

"Every city needs a capital, The Hub would be that for Lucid ecosystem," Liam muttered to himself.

There were still things he planned to add later, but he decided to wait until the players started flooding in.

Then he turned his attention to the Sportverse expansionexpansion.

The sports games were still limited to just football and basketball. It was time to expand.

He began listing the additions in his mind:

American Football

Baseball & Softball

Tennis & Table Tennis

Volleyball & Beach Volleyball

Ice Hockey

Cricket

Racing categories: Kart, Motorsport, Hover Racing, F1, MotoGP etc.

Combat Sports: Taekwondo, MMA, Boxing, Muay Thai etc.

Each sport would feature two main modes:

Career Mode, split into Player Career and Manager Career.

Casual Mode, for quick-play matches and tournaments.

Career Mode would have deep simulation systems, with player stats, contract negotiations, club management, sponsorships, and even fan interactions.

Casual Mode would focus on fun and competition, allowing players to switch between standard gameplay and VR Field Mode, a fully immersive first-person experience with 360° awareness, real-time motion tracking, and hyper-real physics.

VR Field Mode would also be available to both career modes.

This way, players would feel the vibration of every hit, the rush of running, the pressure of the crowd.

After refining the blueprint in his mind, he sent the entire draft to Lucy.

With how fast and efficient Lucy work, he expects that the updates would be ready before morning and the players would receive notifications.

She would also post about it on the Nova Technologies' official account on the platform.

Liam smiled to himself, feeling fulfilled. He decided to visit magical Earth and sign-in, as it was time.
