I Cook Limitlessly In a Fantasy World

Chapter 62: Big Loot Opening

'Well, good thing the Dining Hall is big.'

Ainen sat down at a table while Ron and Syl rushed out of the kitchen and then out of the Cafe.

"Let's fight!"

"Wrong. We are going to spar, dummy."

Saffa, Clovelle, and Fraisea started playing/sparring with Ron and Syl.

Both of them were training in the Kitchen while Ainen was exploring and fighting in the Labyrinth, and they had a lot of fun and learning experience sparring against Saffa, Clovelle, and Fraisea.

Ainen also summoned the ten Hell-themed Monsters.

'Oh, wait, the signal.'

Ainen went out and pointed his index finger in the sky.

A flare shot out that exploded into colorful fireworks in the sky.

This was the signal to show his location to others.

Mainly, Hammer, Diana, and Naresh.

The others on the Island could come to check, but they wouldn't get entry into the barrier. No-Entry Barrier couldn't be broken by anyone in this Labyrinth. Adept-rank had no chance, no matter how strong.

As for those who recently broke through Adept-rank or were still at Awakened-rank, they had no business in this Labyrinth anymore because it was too dangerous for them.

They could just stay behind, break through, and train while slowly climbing the steps.

"Now then, time to open the coffers."

Ainen had tons of boxes.

First, the Mystery Boxes from level 60 to 100. Five boxes.

Level 60 Mystery Box gave him a Random Assortment of Seeds. A total of ten seeds. Some were Tier-2, some Tier-3, and one seed was Tier-4.

Ainen created ten pots and planted the seeds inside after putting some mud from the island's ground.

Level 70 Mystery Box gave him an Elemental Tower Selection Ticket.

[Elemental Tower Selection Ticket]

Use:

—> You can choose to enter the tower of one element out of Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Lightning.

Tower:

—> The tower will have multiple floors, with each floor containing a different quality of the same element essence. You can choose to stay on the floor until you can no longer endure, and try to progress as much as you can.

'I want all five of those elements. They are the most important.' Ainen's eyes glinted.

'Indeed. Having an S-rank in those five elements is a realm only a few have reached. I have been trying as well, but I only have…had S-rank Mastery over Earth, Wind, and Water.'

'Does something happen when you get S-rank mastery in those five?' Ainen curiously asked.

'Something does happen, according to the record of our ancestor, who had attained S-rank mastery in those five. But I can tell you one thing for sure.'

Lord Black's voice was filled with conviction. 'The mastery of those five elements is of paramount importance. Without those five, you will stop at a certain life rank. Naturally, this realm is above the Emperor, and I don't know what it is, but these are the words of my clan's ancestor.'

'Interesting. Well, I am all the more determined to get the rest.' Ainen grinned.

He put away the ticket in his Inventory and opened the level 80 Mystery Box.

It gave him 10,000 Mid-grade Mana Stones.

Next, level 90 Mystery Box.

A Tier-4 Necklace having attributes of Light and Wood, with one active effect and one passive. But this accessory was useless to him because he didn't meet the requirement to use it.

Level 100 Mystery Box gave him a Wind-attributed Legendary fruit of Tier-3.

"Nice. I am getting more and more stuff that I need to cook my next masterpiece.'

Ainen put away the fruit and took out more boxes.

Level 110 Mystery Box, level 120 Mystery Box, level 130 Mystery Box, level 140 Mystery Box, level 150 Mystery Box, level 160 Mystery Box, and level 170 Mystery Box.

He had reached level 175 after killing ten level 200 monsters in ten duels.

Opening those seven boxes, Ainen got the following items.

Random skill box.

1500 high-grade Mana Stones.

Tier-3 Legendary weapon—Doomcrust Greatsword.

Tier-3 Legendary Helmet—Obsidian Wyrmyr Helmet.

Tier-3 Legendary Lightning Flubox Flower.

Tier-4 Revival Potion (Can revive anyone at Ascendant-rank or below if they died within 24 hours of the potion's usage.)

'One revival getto!' Ainen grinned.

'This system of yours is quite powerful. To think it would give you such rewards simply because of leveling up…' Lord Black sighed. 'What a fortune.'

'Yep.'

Ainen took out more boxes.

Tier-3 Weapon Box (Epic-Legendary)

Tier-3 Armor Set Box (Epic-Legendary)

Tier-3 Resource Crate

The Tier-3 Weapon Box gave a Legendary Spear of Tier-3 with Lightning attribute.

Tier-3 Armor Set Box gave him a leather armor set of Epic rank.

Wind Chaser Leather Armor

Wind Chaser Boots

Wind Chaser Gloves.

Wind Chaser Earrings.

[ Wind Chaser Leather Armor] — Tier-3 / Epic

-Attributes: Wind

-Requirement: Adept-rank.

-Equipment Perk:

—> +300 Wind resistance.

—> +10% Boost in Wind-attributed skills and 10% lower mana cost.

—> +10% Vitality.

—> Physical damage is reduced by 15%.

—> The resistance from the atmosphere when moving fast is reduced by 50%.

-Effect:

—> Swirling Call: Creates ten swirls around you that redirect the projectiles coming at you to other directions. Cost: 300 Mana.

Set Effect:

—> Zephyr Aegis: Protective Wind Barrier that automatically generates when you move fast or fly. The more pieces of the Wind Chaser set you have equipped, the stronger the barrier and faster the regeneration.

The Boots, Gloves, and Earrings are almost the same Equipment Perk. The only difference was that Armor gave 10% Vitality and 15% physical damage reduction, Boots gave 10% Agility and 15% magic damage reduction, Gloves gave 10% Strength and 10% Physical damage reduction, and Earrings gave 10% Mana and 10% magic damage reduction.

Of course, each piece had a different effect as well, but their cost was high, and Ainen preferred his own spells for attack, defense, and movement rather than effects from these gears.

He didn't know how long he was going to wear this set, but it was pretty good for now, so he fully geared himself and styled up in the Wind Chaser leather armor set.

'The gears really boost someone a lot. I don't care about the effect, but the perks are too good.'

'Indeed. In high-ranking battles, you're as good as dead without good equipment. The difference becomes too big due to the various boosts.'

'I may have to cook tailor-made equipment for myself. Sounds fun.'

'…is that even possible?'

'Well, I am supposed to cook limitlessly, so I'll find a way somehow. Anyway, I'll also wear this.'

Ainen took out the Tier-3 Legendary helmet he just got from his leveling Mystery Box.

[Obsidian Wyrmyr Helmet] — Tier-3 / Legendary

-Attributes: Darkness, Crystal

-Requirement: Adept-rank

-Equipment Perk:

—> +500 Darkness Resistance

—> +500 Water Resistance

—> +500 Earth Resistance

—> +500 Crystal Resistance

—> +20% boost in Darkness and Crystal attributed skills.

—> +20% Vitality.

—> +20% Mana.

—> Physical damage and magic damage are reduced by 25%.

—> Effectiveness of debuffs on you is reduced by 20% and their duration is reduced by 30%.

'Now, I want to see who can kill me.'

Ainen stood up and went into the Limitless Kitchen.

It was time to cook up a new catalyst for his Magic Core.

While Ainen went into the kitchen, a few people arrived due to the signal.

Dylan and his party.

They thought there was something here and were nearby, but they were stopped by a barrier.

"What is this?" Sofia raised her eyebrows. "It's such a strong and stable barrier."

"No idea. But I am seeing something far. Around a hundred meters front," Rock said as he squinted his eyes.

Stacy turned back as she sensed some presence.

Hammer, Naresh, and Diana were walking towards them.

The trio didn't want trouble even though they were on friendly terms so far.

"Hi." Diana smiled and waved her hand while walking alongside Hammer and Naresh.

"Let's go, let's go," Hammer muttered under his breath.

And under the dumbfounded gazes of Dylan and his party, Naresh, Hammer, and Diana passed through the barrier.

"Safe." Naresh smiled.

"…"
