Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 421: Malinali Liesa

Chapter 421: Malinali Liesa

The entire door was sent flying into the mansion, knocking over everything in its path and destroying the floor tiles, the walls, and even a small portion of the roof.

He controlled his strength enough not to blast half the continent away, but even so, the destruction spread out in a cone, and Rael’s happy greeting was pretty much foiled.

However, just as he began to think he might’ve accidentally killed the woman, all the debris was slashed into miniature pieces before fading to dust.

And a moment later, the green-haired, green-eyed woman stepped forward, her hair wet. She wore a white bathrobe, and she had a deep frown on her face as she readied her stance to fight again.

Rael raised his hands in surrender, then inspected her.

—Malinali Liesa [Grade 4 King Class | Level 2481] – Vitality: Tier 11 [100% / 100% HP]

So it’s her, great. At least this time, it’s not a puppet ruler, Rael thought with a sigh and then spoke.

“Sorry for barging in. Some call me a good carpenter, so I’m sure I can fix your mansion for you later. Though, the reason I came here is a bit different, so… would you like to sit down and have a chat?”

Malinali rolled her eyes. “You come here to talk, yet you start the talks off by destroying my home. You sure are special, aren’t you?”

“I get that a lot.” Rael smiled, and to ensure there were no misunderstandings, he proceeded to head into the Premium Shop and buy the first repair kit he could.

They were all cheap, not even worth 1/10th of a Premium Coin, so his balance didn’t take a dip in the slightest.

A blueprint appeared in his hands, and without even taking a second look, Rael tossed it on the cracked floor.

In an instant, the floor mended itself. Right after, the walls, ceiling, and even the door were fixed, almost as if they were never broken.

And because of that, Rael once again found himself standing outside the perfectly fixed door.

He knocked, and thankfully, instead of the curved blade slicing his neck, he was met with Malinali approaching the door slowly and opening it with a raised brow.

“Say, could you fix a few ships for me as well?” Malinali asked with a smirk. “If you do, then I’ll pay you handsomely.”

Rael shook his head and stepped inside her house. He glanced around a couple of times, then navigated to the living room and sat down comfortably.

Malinali walked into the living room soon after, wearing a skeptical look.

“People fear me much more than you would care to believe. Do you know why that is?” Malinali asked softly.

“Because you’re powerful?” Rael replied. “Or maybe because you’re the one who united the kingdom?”

Malinali giggled. “Powerful? United the kingdom? Me? God, no.”

She stepped forward and sat across from him, then leaned back and rested her curved blade on her shoulder.

After crossing her legs, she met his gaze. “You have definitely not heard the history of Elmlot, have you?”

Rael shrugged. “I don’t read books.”

“Clearly.” Malinali nodded, her gaze sharpening. “So before I kill you, I’ll tell you something interesting. How does that sound?”

The air around her grew heavier, and Rael felt as though gravity had increased, pinning him down on the seat as she suddenly stood up.

Her robe revealed her curves, but Rael had seen far more erotic temptation while he was with Zafira, so something so simple didn’t faze him in the slightest.

“I killed the rulers of Branstrum, and I also murdered the rulers of Blazestor,” she stated, stepping closer.

“They fear me not because I am strong, but because I am bold.” Malinali’s smile widened as she sat down on the armrest beside him and leaned back, their shoulders touching.

“No one knows what I’ll do next, because I don’t even know what I’ll do next myself,” Malinali said, letting out a faint giggle. “It wasn’t my intention to unite this kingdom, but because I did have to take responsibility for my actions, I had no choice but to take the Branstrum and Blazestor cities under my wing.”

She sighed. “But then the annoying politics came… sign this, sign that. Legalize sea routes, give contributions… Fuck all of them, and fuck the Hollow Kingdom in particular.”

With that, she fell silent for a moment, giving Rael a moment to finally speak.

“I can understand. I’m a ruler in my own right. I rule over three kingdoms or so, I kind of lost count by now.” Rael chuckled.

Hearing that, Malinali raised a brow and tilted her body over, falling onto his lap. She pushed aside her robe slightly, revealing her naked figure.

She leaned in, almost as if she were trying to kiss him.

But that was when Rael decided he had played enough of her games, so with a simple push, he shoved her away, causing her to land ass-first on the ground.

“I’m not who is moved by appearance, so your seduction is far from effective,” Rael said plainly.

Malinali clicked her tongue and stood up. Then, she waved her hand, and in an instant, her robe was replaced by loose casual clothing. Soon after, a warm jacket appeared over her shoulders, and of course, a green pirate hat that perfectly blended with her hair.

She quickly tied her hair into a single ponytail, and then met his gaze.

Unlike before, her expression had taken a complete 180. She no longer tried to appear seductive, nor was she staring at him with a playful expression.

In fact, he couldn’t even read the emotions on her face, and even when he focused on her surface thoughts, there was nothing.

But before he could wonder further, she tapped on the hilt of her curved blade before finally speaking.

“I thought you were a foolish man who only came here to sleep with me, but that proved to not be the case,” Malinali said, narrowing her eyes. “Had you been that type, I would’ve killed you like I’ve done with all the men who have tried to pursue me, so for that sole reason alone, you’ve got my attention.”
