Chapter 388: Immortal Grade Formation
Moving on to his professions, he glanced at cooking and smiled.
“We’re so back,” he thought.
Even so, he couldn’t help but feel a little downcast. Even with it progressing normally again, he was still a full week away from leveling up to the celestial grade.
And this was his fastest improving profession.
Well, he supposed it was fine. He should be fairly safe for a few days – enough time for the other professions to advance despite their slow pace.
Although he was optimistic, he felt that he was about to hit a huge wall soon. At the celestial realm, he probably wouldn’t even be able to earn a single experience point no matter how much he tried.
According to the empress, the difference between the immortal and celestial realm was so astronomically high that anything below the celestial realm might as well be nothing.
After all, it was the realm of the gods.
Xiang Yu sighed. Even if it was the realm of the gods, was the difference really that high? No, he wouldn’t let this wall stop him.
The main reason there was a wall in the first place was just like before – lack of qi.
Before, with the immortal realm, although he lacked immortal qi, he was able to get a single experience point by constantly creating heavenly grade food. But in the celestial grade, he might not be able to get that single experience point even if he spammed immortal food for the rest of his life.
The solution was simple though. He just needed celestial qi and all would be solved. Only problem – how was he going to get celestial qi in this small mortal world?
His eyes brightened. “The same way I got immortal qi.” He looked at the spirit vein. That’s right, if he upgraded the spirit vein to celestial grade, it should be able to release celestial qi.
His mood fell once again. To upgrade the immortal grade spirit vein to celestial grade, he would need about a hundred heavenly grade spirit veins, or ten immortal grade ones.
Where was he supposed to find that many spirit veins? He wasn’t sure there was even another immortal grade spirit vein on this planet, let alone ten.
It seemed he would have to resort to the OG method – feeding the spirit vein natural treasures as god intended.
Even so, he didn’t think feeding it divine level treasures would make much difference. And he only had enough materials to make a single heavenly grade treasure. He was backed into a corner.
He needed materials, but it all came back to the earlier problem. This lower level world didn’t have higher level materials.
Although there were some forming under the spirit vein, they would likely still take a few years to mature since spirit metal composition was really complicated.
He suddenly paused. If there weren’t any materials, couldn’t he just simply make them?
He passed on this train of thought to the light clone to explore and continued examining his stats.
He looked at runesmith and formation master and smiled. Although they weren’t progressing as fast as he would have liked, it was still something.
At the moment, he didn’t think he needed celestial grade formations. He didn’t have celestial qi to power them anyway.
Earlier, he had just finished crafting the immortal grade defensive formation and inscribing runes into it. It had taken almost the entire day to make one, but he wasn’t disappointed by the results.
Powered by the immortal grade spirit vein, this formation could withstand an attack from an Immortal Emperor. And with the runes, it could even deliver an attack on the same level.
He smiled. He was finally invincible in this world. Even if an immortal descended, what could they do to him?
Even if they nuked the planet from orbit, they would still be safe in this formation. He would just need to use his gravity law to maintain everything and pull them to another star.
Unless a celestial descended, no one could harm him in this world. Unless he decided to leave the formation himself – good luck getting him to do that.
…
The rest of the stats weren’t that interesting, so Xiang Yu dismissed the system with a wave of his hand.
As he was doing so, Xiang Li walked over to him and handed him a box before returning.
Xiang Yu grabbed the box. He thought to himself that now that he was invincible, he should maybe relax a bit.
He pressed a button on the box and it transformed.
This was his flying boat GT 6090 Ultra Compact Form Convertible.
“Quite the beauty if you ask me,” he thought as it opened up its wings and also opened the storage compartment where all sorts of foods were packed. He unpacked the food before packing it again. He then got a few items and put them in the extra compartment beside the food and closed it.
This model also functioned with one of his partitions as its programmable chip.
He put the coordinates of his junior sister in it and let go of it. The boat shattered space and instantly disappeared.
“It’s quite fast,” he thought as he tracked it through his soul. He thought to himself that it had already arrived. “Alright, relaxing time is over. Let’s grind…”
His junior sister was breaking through the Integration realm and felt she might not have enough energy to reach its peak, so Xiang Yu sent her some food to enter the peak and stabilize her cultivation.
She wasn’t going to attempt tribulation yet as she needed to build her foundation even more.
As for why she asked for it to be delivered instead of coming back, she seemed to have something she wanted to do in mind and feared she might not want to leave once she came back. Xiang Yu could already guess what was going on in her mind. She probably wanted to visit the central continent to scout the enemy or maybe look for some inheritance.
Well, he supposed it didn’t matter. At the moment, he had his divine sense covering the entire planet and could break space and pull her back here in case anything happened. Even if the enemy was an immortal, they wouldn’t be able to do anything because of the formation.
The formation was really making him bold. He didn’t even care about extending his divine sense over the entire planet anymore. He sighed, hoping it remained like this. He didn’t want to have to deal with celestials now. Could the author let him rest for a few weeks…
