Chapter 623: Chapter 27: Three Voices
Three strands of willpower, like invisible giant anchors, fiercely embedded themselves at the forefront of Lynch’s expanding dual domains! The collision on the mental level stirred up a silent storm, and the space at the edge of the Jade Land rippled with invisible oscillations. The mental message that followed was cold and direct, carrying an undeniable authority:
“Lord of Emerald, Lord Saphiro, you have crossed the boundary.”
Three voices, clearly imprinted in the depths of Lynch’s consciousness.
The first voice immediately followed, like two heavy granite stones rubbing at the bottom of the Abyss, carrying a rock-like heaviness and undisguised cold hardness:
“Saphiro, mind your boundary! The Kassen Corridor is not your backyard to explore arbitrarily!” The owner of the voice seemed to harbor old grudges, with a Spirit Imprint like a sharp, time-worn brown boulder, pressing heavily.
“Don’t repeat the mistakes of your predecessor! The lesson from when he recklessly attempted to intrude upon the corridor; you wouldn’t want to experience it firsthand again!”
Though the other party didn’t reveal their identity, Lynch also knew, this was definitely his neighbor, the Domain of the Land of Kassen Corridor, Grison Camus.
In the years he spent in the Jade Land, he had heard a lot about the other party’s stories…
Faced with the hostility of the other party, Lynch was not polite either, releasing the dual Domain Power outward, clashing fiercely with the other’s domain.
“Thunk!”
A silent muffled sound unfolded at the boundaries of the two Witch Domains, powerful domain forces stirred a ripple at that distant boundary.
Even a slight collision rapidly stirred up sensational waves in the realm!
“Boom!”
An earthquake-like tremor shook the earth, the boundary split open, forming a crack over tens of kilometers long, as if mountains were collapsing and the earth itself had torn apart.
Grison was taken aback.
His bluntness was largely based on the belief that Lynch, as a newly emerged domain, was significantly weaker than him, but to his utmost surprise, the energy exhibited at this moment was not at all inferior to his own.
What is going on?
Wasn’t it said that this Saphiro had just recently elevated to the domain level?
The other two wills were equally puzzled at this moment.
“Haha! Grison, put away that ancient ledger of grievances! A newly emergent domain is always full of exploratory vitality!”
A voice quickly interjected to calm the situation, this was also Lynch’s neighbor, located on the southern side of Jade Land, the Red Plain, known as the Gale Domain and this was Bahr Joel of the Red Plain.
Bahr’s tone was obviously more conciliatory than that of Grison before: “Lord Saphiro, I am Bahr Joel of the Red Plain. Congratulations on successfully constructing your domain and entering this supreme hall! From today on, you are one of the Supreme Council members!”
“However,” he paused and then added, “one of the iron rules of the Supreme Council is that no domain can intrude into another member’s ’territory’ unprovoked and unannounced. This is the basis for maintaining our fragile ’peace.’ I hope we can jointly uphold this order.”
An inch of respect given is returned as a proportionate measure.
Compared to Grison’s impoliteness earlier, when facing this courteous Gale Domain, Lynch naturally adhered to etiquette: “Pleased to meet you, Lord Bahr of the Gale Domain.”
Bahr chuckled: “You are welcome to visit the Red Plain anytime; I’m sure you’ll enjoy the wine we brew here using the heart of the storm.”
Lynch nodded: “Certainly, there will be an opportunity.”
“Are you done talking?”
Then, a lazy, just-woken female voice appeared. This voice was like honey flowing under the moonlight, with a hint of languid sweetness, yet deeply hidden was an icy chill that sent a shiver through the soul: “Tsk tsk, what an energetic little one…”
This voice made Lynch inexplicably feel a sense of familiarity, where had he heard it before…
Lynch perceived the direction the voice came from, which was not elsewhere, but directly to the west of Jade Land, and over there, beyond the Ruins, only one other Witch Domain shared a sincere boundary.
It was none other than Lynch’s homeland—the Ancient Ruins!
Could it be…
Suddenly, Lynch had a guess about the identity of the other party.
Sure enough!
While Lynch was speculating, the other party began to introduce themselves: “Hey, young one of the Jade Land, as a newcomer to this level, I can forgive your impoliteness this time, assuming you are unaware of the rules.”
“But since you’ve already offended, don’t you think you should apologize in front of a senior?”
She paused and then said: “I am the High Priest of the Freemasonry Church of the Ancient Ruins, Margaret Fiers, your senior, remember!”
It was indeed her…
In the Ancient Ruins, there were only three domains: the Sage Erodion, the Dawn Wizard Aizer, and the current Dark Princess Margaret.
Though turmoil had reportedly occurred in that area in recent years, beings at this domain level generally don’t fall easily, so upon hearing the other party’s voice, Lynch’s first thought was of this Dark Princess.
Speaking of, Lynch had merely crossed paths with her once, recalling the last time he saw her was when the Blood-colored Battlefield opened, and her arrival was like that of a god looking down from above.
At that time, he was just an insignificant apprentice among the masses, only able to gaze upon her from afar.
Time flies, and he didn’t expect that he now has the qualification to converse with her.
For a moment, Lynch couldn’t help but feel a bit sentimental.
He nodded and said: “Pleased to meet you, Miss Margaret, and I express my apologies for the previous offense.”
Margaret laughed sarcastically: “Knowing your wrong is being a good child.”
“Yawn!~”
She lazily yawned: “Well, you all talk, I came just to see what was going on, and since it’s a misunderstanding resolved, I’ll return to the Church.”
Having said this, the presence quickly receded.
At the same time, the Gale Domain Bahr also amicably said to Lynch: “Lord Saphiro, I shall await your arrival in the Red Plain, let’s end it here for today.”
Lynch nodded: “Alright.”
Bahr then also soon departed.
Grison of the Kassen Corridor’s Domain of the Land departed as well, though not as amicably as the other two, leaving with a cold snort.
This undisguised hostility seemed on the surface to be due to Lynch’s overstepping of boundaries, but in reality, it was largely due to vested interest conflicts.
After all, Kassen Corridor and Jade Land already had considerable historical enmity; in the chaotic years of the Jade Land, Kassen Corridor had opportunistically benefitted greatly, and even now, several resource areas on their boundary are occupied by the other, signifying heavy conflicts.
Reasonably, Kassen Corridor was highly wishing for the Jade Land to remain in chaos, and now suddenly, Lynch appeared and consolidated it, probably making them the least happy.
Lynch paid no heed to Grison’s hostility; recently elevated to the domain himself, the internal resources of Jade Land were yet to be fully integrated, making it not the right time to solve external conflicts. New ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄhapters are published on novel[f]ire.net
His gaze instead fell towards the direction of the Ancient Ruins.
“Even the Dark Princess Margaret has joined the Freemasonry Church? One of the staunchest supporters of bloodline order…”
Frowning, Lynch pondered: “I wonder how the situation over there is…”
