Chapter 375 - 12: Witch Castle in the Mist Forest

Chapter 375: Chapter 12: Witch Castle in the Mist Forest

The message was sent by Lynch’s potential ally, inviting him to meet.

Witch Castle, one of the eight major forces in Jade Land.

South of Jade Land, Misty Forest.

Misty Forest is a lush forest in the southern part of Jade Land, shrouded in thick fog all day long, with an average visibility of no more than 10 meters. Even the most directionally skilled hunter would quickly lose their way upon entering, making it a notoriously dangerous place.

“Tap, tap, tap…”

The clear sound of footsteps echoed as a figure slowly emerged from the thick fog.

Silver hair as frost seemed to meld with the dense white mist, while a black cloak formed a distinct silhouette in the haze.

Lynch walked through the fog, carrying a lantern in hand, its light flickering between bright and dim.

This was the Guiding Lantern, a specially crafted piece of witchcraft for this mist-laden area, capable of directing Lynch through the fog. Without it, finding direction here would be impossible.

The fog in this forest was not ordinary but was a special kind of Magic Array. Besides obscuring vision, it also had a space-distorting function.

Because of this, ordinary people who ventured into Misty Forest would lose their way, feeling as if they walked for ages but might actually be circling the same spot until they perished.

“What an advanced Magic Array.”

While walking deeper, Lynch also carefully perceived the rune trails around him, trying to glean some knowledge related to this Magic Array.

This was a Three-Ring Magic Array. If he could research it, deploying it in his own Misty Forest could enhance its protection.

The lantern in hand switched between brightness and darkness, indicating correct or wrong directions.

Following the lantern deeper into the forest, after walking for several hours, a chorus of lively chatter suddenly reached his ears.

He could vaguely see a lake up ahead, where some young maidens were frolicking in the water.

“Haha, Catherine, your chest is even fairer now.”

“Little minx, are you longing for a man? Staring at me all day.”

“Hahaha, isn’t it nice?”

Waves rippled as the maidens whimsically transformed splashes into various forms, turning to frost one moment and igniting into flames the next, quite wondrous.

Lynch glanced at the guiding lantern, which was pointing toward the direction of the maidens by the lake.

So he walked over: “Excuse me…”

Although he did his best to appear friendly, the sudden voice from the mist still startled the girls.

The maidens cautiously hid beneath the water and behind nearby rocks, warily watching Lynch.

“A man…it’s a man!”

“A stranger, how did he appear here?”

“Is he a lost traveler?”

“Handsome…”

“A handsome man…”

After the initial tension, an unusual gleam appeared in the maidens’ eyes, as if they had seen a delicacy, swallowing and even nibbling their lips.

These were witches living in Misty Forest, with a rather unique wizard inheritance belonging to the Enchanting Demon Meditation Method within the Great Demon Meditation Method. After meditating, their female hormones would secrete unusually, leaving them extraordinarily eager for men.

However, outsiders were forbidden from entering Misty Forest, resulting in every witch here being incredibly repressed.

Rumor has it that hunters who accidentally entered Misty Forest and encountered the witches were kept as playthings to vent desires. When found, they were either emaciated or already mere skeletons.

Whether these rumors were true or not was unknown, but at the moment, after the initial surprise, the witches swam toward the lake edge, generously exposing their shapely curves before Lynch.

They coquettishly attempted to attract him with various alluring poses, enticing him from the water:

“Ah, handsome young man, there are so many beauties here, don’t you want to do something?”

“We’re all wet and unclothed, you know.”

“Look at this pool, the water’s just right, don’t you want to take a bath with us?”

These weren’t just ordinary sounds but were infused with spiritual power, Spiritual Magic. As the voices reached Lynch’s ears, an inexplicable heat arose within him, rapidly boosting his hormones.

If it were an ordinary person, they would’ve surely lost control of their body by now, stripping off to jump into the pool.

But to Lynch, these tricks were elementary.

Without needing to do much, realizing the anomaly in his spiritual power, his spiritual protection force field automatically activated and rejected the influence, clearing any abnormalities at once.

Lynch countered, “Since the water feels so comfortable, why not stay in the center of the lake?”

The same voice bounced back, and now the witches were in trouble.

“What’s happening?”

“My body…why can’t I control my body?”

“Stop me, please!”

The witches quickly discovered, to their horror, that their bodies were beyond their control, involuntarily swimming toward the lake center.

Some witches attempted to leave, but whenever they tried, their bodies would once again take them back as if confined to the center, unable to leave the confines of the lake.

The witches were in a panic.

Just as the witches were getting desperate, a voice suddenly echoed from the lake’s center: “Playing tricks on the Witch Castle’s apprentices, that’s very impolite behavior, Silver Frost Wizard. You didn’t come here just to offend us, did you?”

The sound of water splashing rang out.

A figure formed from the water in the lake’s center.

Yet another female, appearing to be in her thirties, cloaked in a wizard robe that highlighted her curves, wearing a large pointed hat, holding a pipe that she smoked.

“Witch Diana!”

“Lady Diana!”

“My Lady, please help us!”

The witches in the water, finding a backbone, quickly pleaded with the figure for help.

Witch Diana’s gaze fell on Lynch.

Lynch shrugged: “No offense intended, just a little joke.”

He then nonchalantly released the spiritual power, granting the witches their freedom.

It was time to show his capabilities as a newcomer. If he didn’t demonstrate anything, they might not value him. Judging by his visit, they likely let these witches cavort here to test him as well.

Lynch inquired, “So, can we discuss the real business now?”
