Chapter 356: Chapter 30: Time Flies
“Teacher, are you back?”
Little Annie stood at the doorway, holding Frankenstein’s rag doll in her arms, its button-like eyes spinning unconsciously, seeming more lively than last time.
“Not asleep again?” Lynch walked over and gently brushed the stardust off the tips of her hair. The shimmering particles instantly turned into dancing lights, swirling around Annie and floating out the window with the night breeze.
Annie stuck out her tongue, “I did sleep, but when I heard movement in your room, I guessed it was you returning and got up specially.”
“I just wanted to see you, and now that I have, I’ll go back to sleep.”
She smiled sweetly, genuinely happy, and said goodbye as she picked up Frankenstein and headed out.
“Wait a minute!”
However, Lynch stopped her just then.
Lynch walked over and picked up Little Annie, carrying her over to a nearby chair, then sat down. With a gentle snap of his fingers, there was a ’boom,’ and a cloud of smoke exploded in the air, followed by a book falling from the sky.
It was a storybook titled “Sky Adventure.”
Having misspoken many times before, it was time to fulfill the promise. As an adult, there should be limits to playing around.
Lynch said, “Want to hear a story?”
Little Annie’s eyes lit up with tiny stars, yet she still asked, “Is it okay?”
Lynch chuckled, “It’s okay to stay up late occasionally.”
…
Although the excursion was short, it allowed Lynch to see some shortcomings and issues in the development within his Witch Domain, like rewards for new adventurers.
The next day, he visited Greywell and discussed these issues with him, leaving him to figure out how to resolve them.
Lynch generally embraced a non-interventionist approach to managing his Witch Domain, whether the human or extraordinary forces. He let them develop independently, as long as they adhered to his will.
His main focus remained on cultivation.
After all, in a world where great power stems from oneself, strength is the foundation of everything. No matter how flashy or intricate the rules and order are, without strength to back them up, they are ultimately just illusory.
Entering the cultivation room, Lynch began another round of meditation.

The days passed by in training, and in the blink of an eye, three years went by.
Misty Valley, Guardian Tower.
Afternoon.
In the quiet afternoon, Parker was chasing Shea, flying around the Tower. This Forest Fairy’s power had grown swiftly, and after years of nurturing, she had recently advanced to the Wizard Level.
Originally mischievous by nature, now having the strength to challenge Parker, she enjoyed teasing him constantly, pelting him with summoned water balls and aggravating Parker to no end.
Ever since settling here, Lynch had built a new Dragon Nest for Parker on the lower level of the Wizard Tower, and Shea had her own room. With so few followers with independent thought, they couldn’t be neglected.
On the top floor terrace of the Tower, Lynch was leisurely seated, sipping afternoon tea. On the round, cream-colored wooden table lay several of the latest blueberry cake from Feiyan City, with a sweet yet not cloying taste that suited Lynch’s palate.
This was where the development of civilization showed its advantages.
With improved productivity, people developed a desire for material civilization, which led to the creation of more delectable dishes, satisfying culinary cravings, and Lynch could indirectly enjoy the benefits of civilization.
Otherwise, considering when he first arrived in Feiyan City, where even sufficient food was a concern, and the staple was rock-hard black bread mixed with sawdust, who had the leisure to research dessert flavors?
Enjoying the delicacies, Lynch flipped through the notebook in his hand.
This had just been delivered from the Wizard Tower—a Magic Notebook excavated from the Underground City ruins.
Now that Lynch’s adventurer civilization was well-developed, adventurers explored the ruins, recorded knowledge fragments, and collected various magic resources. These were submitted to the guild, which then transferred them to the Wizard Tower. The transcendent individuals at the Tower would organize them initially, and ultimately pass them to Lynch.
Throughout the process, Lynch didn’t need to do much to continuously receive all kinds of knowledge, documents, and magical items discovered in the Underground City.
Of course, it’s not as though he did absolutely nothing; Magic Stones were still required.
The badges used by every adventurer, the operation of the Wizard Tower, Light Church, Magic Farm, Alchemy Workshop, and so on—all these daily require astronomical amounts of Magic Stones. The assets Lynch had brought from the Ancient Ruins location were long spent.
Presently, his Magic Stones mainly come from mining operations in several resource sites within the Witch Domain, including ores, Magic Plants, Demons, and the recently reclaimed Ruins Forest, which has significantly bolstered his resources.
Even so, with the increasing number of adventurers pouring in, Lynch was finding himself somewhat short on Magic Stones…
“Ding-a-ling!”
Just then, a bronze bell hanging above the table suddenly rang.
This was no ordinary bell, but a specially made piece of Witchcraft by Lynch, named the [Resonating Bell]. The Resonating Bell consists of a main bell and multiple sub-bells, which are in resonance with each other. When one is shaken, the other also moves.
Using this trait, Lynch employed it to communicate with his followers. He held the main bell, while the others had their respective sub-bells. If anyone needed to meet him, they would shake their sub-bell, and he would receive the signal.
The ringing sound quickly conjured an image in the air, showing the Magic Farm area.
Setting down his teacup, Lynch stood slowly, taking a step forward. The space in front of him warped, and in the next moment, he appeared in another valley miles away, inside the Magic Farm.
After a few years of development, the Magic Farm had undergone significant changes.
Looking out, endless expanses of cultivated farmland spread out. At present, it was the harvest season, and golden ears of wheat awaited reaping, swaying in the autumn breeze like waves in a golden sea.
Several Alchemy Guardians and some Alchemy Turtles busied themselves in the fields, harvesting the grain and transporting it to roadside granaries under the guidance of a few apprentices.
At the valley entrance, a group of large, hulking figures carried felled trees into the valley—these were the green-skinned giants Lynch had bred, responsible for most of the valley’s construction, and they served as the primary workforce.
As he observed the changes in the valley, Lynch released his Spiritual Field.
Shortly after waiting in place, a row of horse-drawn carts hurried over and stopped before Lynch. There was no driver on the cart; it was pulled by two goat-like Magic Beasts, even their eyes covered by black cloth.
“Clack!”
The carriage door opened, and two young women emerged—it was Lynch’s apprentices, Flora and Lena.
“Mentor.”
They hurriedly greeted him.
Compared to when he first met them, these two girls had undergone significant changes. Back then, their eyes were filled with fear and anxiety, constantly trembling as if they were caged lambs.
Now, however, they appeared composed and dignified, their eyes brimming with confidence and strength, with no trace of the previous fear.
As the initial seven apprentices to follow Lynch, he had focused on training them, providing all the resources needed for cultivation, and they hadn’t disappointed him. They trained diligently and had advanced to the middle and high-level apprentice stages.
Having endured hard times, they cherished their hard-won future.
Lynch nodded, “What do you need me for?”
“It was I who sought you out!”
Before either could answer, a voice came from behind, and a chubby figure stepped out of the carriage.
