Chapter 1806: Chapter 1903: The Martial Lord’s End
The yellowing sun sets, the sunset gradually fading away.
An elderly sage in white wanders aimlessly between heaven and earth, his white hair flowing, his steps light, as if his mood is very joyful.
But countless points of light disperse from around the elder, flying in all directions.
As the points of light continue to scatter, the elder’s life force gradually wilts, and his eyes slowly dim.
However, the elder in white is not concerned. His heart is filled with joy and satisfaction, without any regrets, not even the slightest fear in the face of eternal slumber.
Life and death are of no consequence to him anymore. He has lived for so long, seeing familiar faces perish, witnessing the familiar transform into the vast changes of time, and there’s nothing in the world worth his concern anymore.
"I am Xuanyuan Ya, a relic of the Ancient Wilderness, who cultivated for 7,361 years to achieve the realm of Martial Lord, and lived for 102,000 years. Now my heart’s desire is fulfilled, I scatter my 100,000 years of cultivation to the four seas and eight wastes, wishing that the myriad beings may thrive from generation to generation, and that the sun, moon, and stars never fall!"
The elder in white walked and sang, and the light around him turned into meteors, scattering like wind and moon chasers to the four seas and eight wastes.
Some points of light fell into a southeastern village, resulting in a child bathed in fire unharmed, becoming a marvel over a thousand miles.
Some points of light flew to the northern wilderness, falling into a Primordial Strange Stone that had existed for an unknown duration, allowing it to nurture a spiritual fetus of a monkey, gathering the qi of the entire universe within.
Some points of light fell into a northwestern city, where the city’s lord later gave birth to dragon-phoenix twins, and at their birth, myriad beasts gathered outside the city, roaring thunderously. Numerous famous swords soared to the Nine Heavens, shaking heaven and earth.
Some points of light went to the eastern seashores, where a fisherman’s couple gave birth to a baby girl, witnessing a golden Flood Dragon emerge from the sea, holding a zither in its mouth, and although no one played it, the melody echoed throughout the Nine Heavens.
Some points of light scattered into the southwestern mountain forests, where a White Tiger with a lame leg carried an abandoned infant less than a year old, and a point of light entered the infant’s body, granting the infant radiant eyes that suddenly turned around and rode onto the White Tiger’s back.
Many more rays of light scattered into the bodies of myriad beings on the earth, whether they be humans, demons, or beasts without intelligence, all benefit from the elder in white’s favor.𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
At this moment, the elder in white spared no reservations, scattering everything he had, leaving hope and the seeds of fire for the myriad beings of the world.
Once the last strand of light dispersed, the elder’s aura vanished completely, and he stood motionless, seemingly already dead.
Mo Shouhe appeared, standing before the elder in white with a complicated expression, looking at the lifeless elder.
"You’ve come," the elder in white said with a smile. As formidable as he was, even with no life force and an exhausted body, he still hadn’t entirely perished.
Mo Shouhe nodded, saying, "Since you are about to die, I shall take everything from you."
The elder in white’s cracked face showed a smile, as if mocking Mo Shouhe.
"You can’t take anything, I’ve already scattered everything," the elder laughed.
Mo Shouhe frowned upon hearing this and suddenly realized, his face full of anger.
"What you’ve done is meaningless!" Mo Shouhe said angrily.
The elder in white laughed heartily, "Whether it holds meaning is unimportant. I do what I wish, as long as there’s cheer and satisfaction in my heart. Unlike you, Mo Shouhe, who has lived even longer than I have, but do you live freely?"
Mo Shouhe remained silent and turned to leave.
"I will not die so quickly. I will stay here watching you. Even with my barely intact body, I should be able to hold you back until someone can replace me, only then will I truly close my eyes," the elder in white said silently in his heart as he watched Mo Shouhe’s departing figure.
It is unknown how much time had passed before a small, oddly-shaped ginseng emerged from the soil beneath the elder in white. It was peculiar, with features and limbs.
The elder in white looked down at the small ginseng and grinned.
The small ginseng looked sorrowful, though it had features, it hadn’t learned to speak, opening its mouth but making no sound.
"Little one, don’t be sad. Perhaps many years from now, you may make the same choice as me. I only hope that you’ll live a happier life and don’t dwell on me," the elder in white said gently. He wished to gently stroke the ginseng’s head but didn’t; he realized he couldn’t waste any more energy, or he wouldn’t be able to restrain Mo Shouhe.
The small ginseng climbed out of the dirt, jumped onto the elder in white, affectionately rubbing against him, its face full of reluctance and sadness.
"Go, to where you need to be, and don’t forget what I said," the elder in white said softly.
The small ginseng fell to the ground, respectfully bowed three times to the elder in white, and then burrowed into the soil, its destination unknown.
The elder in white stood there still, unmoving, as if not an earthly feat could shake this unimposing figure.𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
He is the world’s strongest. He is the Human Clan’s first true Martial Lord, and he is the one who left hope for the future generations!
····
An unimaginably grand towering mountain phantom appeared before the elder in white.
The elder in white smiled, wearing his usually warm smile, showing no surprise even when faced with the Eternal Divine Mountain that had vanished for countless years.
"Mountain Tu, have you come to say goodbye as well?"
····
A thousand years swiftly passed by.
In the Sinking Abyss, Fang Lin finally took that critical step and successfully entered the Immortal realm.
"Twelve hundred years, and finally I’ve stepped into the Immortal realm," Fang Lin thought to himself, looking at the array prison that had trapped him for so long.
He threw a punch without hesitation, trying to forcefully break out of the Sinking Abyss using brute strength.
With a booming sound, the array prison shook, but then an immense force rebounded, knocking Fang Lin directly to the ground.
The array remained undamaged, completely unaffected, while Fang Lin was severely shaken by the force returned by the array.
"How can this be?" Fang Lin’s face was ashen, even after entering the Immortal realm, he couldn’t shake the array prison, contrary to what he had expected.
"Why is it like this? Even the Immortal cultivation can’t break through?" Fang Lin kept trying, attacking the array prison again and again, but each time he failed, leading to despair.
In his past life, he had never been to the Sinking Abyss and didn’t know its specifics. He initially thought that with Immortal cultivation and his powerful physical strength, he could break through.
But unexpectedly, the array’s strength far exceeded what he imagined, leaving no possibility of forcefully breaking through even as an Immortal.
Realizing this, Fang Lin fell into desolation and despair, aimlessly wandering daily, like a lost soul.
Until one day, a youthful boy came to the Sinking Abyss, passing outside Fang Lin’s array prison.
Fang Lin raised his head and just caught the gaze of the youthful boy.
