Chapter 2013: Chapter 2023: You Go with Them Too

The Director swallowed nervously, regretting having listened to Lisa earlier and joining her in humiliating Olivia Lewis.

When they went out, the man in a sharp suit was already sitting in the Director’s chair, surrounded by a dozen bodyguards.

The secretary was making him a cup of coffee, which he leisurely sipped.

As he saw the two of them coming out, he didn’t even lift his eyelids.

The Director, seeing the intimidating display, felt his legs weaken but forced himself to move closer, saying, "President Sinclair, why are you here?"

"I suddenly became interested in trying out filming an advertisement, and since you’re shooting here, I thought I’d give it a try," Adam Sinclair said, looking quite composed, not at all appearing angry.

The Director, relieved, immediately approached enthusiastically, "Young Master Sinclair, feel free to try anything. What kind of advertisement would you like to shoot? I can arrange it for you."

"What kind of advertisement?"

Adam Sinclair cast an enigmatic glance at him, then at Lisa beside him, a flash of ruthlessness in his eyes.

Before he finished speaking, Olivia Lewis came over and was utterly surprised, "What are you doing here?"

Shouldn’t he be lying comfortably in a Hospital bed?

How did he end up here?

Olivia Lewis quickly walked over, just about to speak.

Adam Sinclair’s secretary had already smartly blocked her, speaking softly to divert the topic.

Taking advantage of this moment, Adam Sinclair indifferently glanced at the alarmed Director and Lisa and straightforwardly said, "I just glanced at your advertisement script, it’s not bad. I’ll shoot this one."

Lisa’s heart began to race.

The next second, she heard the man’s cold and unfeeling voice, "I noticed there’s a scene where the Female Protagonist experiences a breakup, and to show her heartbreak, there’s a rain scene. Have your actress prepare for it; we’ll shoot that scene later."

He paused and continued, "Just right, there’s a street scene where the Female Protagonist is caught in the rain after a breakup that’s missing a passerby. The Director doesn’t need to arrange anyone else, you can play that passerby, it’s fitting."

He spoke nonchalantly, but everyone could hear the undeniable command in his words.

The people on set were as silent as cicadas in winter.

They weren’t fools; they had eyes to see.

It was clear that Young Master Sinclair was here to help Ms. Lewis regain dignity, not genuinely to shoot an advertisement.

It seemed this time, Lisa was not just biting off more than she could chew.

It was obvious she intended to humiliate Ms. Lewis, but now it looks like she’ll just have to swallow the broken pieces herself.

The people on set were amused by the turn of events.

Though some of them weren’t well-acquainted with Olivia Lewis, they knew Lisa well; Lisa often flaunted her status as a Star.

Now that she was in trouble, they were happy to watch.

The whole scene was extremely silent, with no one stepping forward to plead for the Director or Lisa.

Everyone’s eyes were wide open, watching the reactions of the two with interest.

The Director’s face turned pale like a sheet of snow.

Lisa’s expression was much more vivid; first, it was white, then red, then green, and finally her whole face turned purplish. She clenched her fists, trying her best to endure.

"What are you waiting for? Prop artist, go prepare it." Adam Sinclair didn’t care about her reaction, not even sparing her a glance, turned his head to look at his secretary and said, "You go along with them!"

The secretary immediately replied, "Yes, President Sinclair."
