After that, Yu Qi and Long Hui brought Cheng Sung back to the Miao Ancestral House. The person who guarded the property was shocked to see Cheng Sung being dragged by a beast. He wanted to attack the beast, but stopped when he saw Yu Qi and Long Hui, whom he had met earlier.

"Why is Elder Cheng being dragged like that?" The person asked.

"Well, because he is a traitor to the Miao Family. We are going to bring him back to the Miao Family." Yu Qi said.

"Impossible. He is an elder." The person could not believe Yu Qi.

"Well, you can ask the Miao Family later. We still need to return to the Miao Family." Yu Qi said.

The person wanted to refuse but he did not dare to fight Yu Qi and Long Hui. Not only were they stronger than him, but they also had a beast by their side. Looking at its massive size, it might be stronger than him. He did not chance to get himself killed.

Long Hui and Yu Qi returned to the outside world. Once Long Hui and Yu Qi returned, someone had already rushed out to inform Patriarch Miao about their arrival.

The person who guarded the teleportation device saw Cheng Sung being dragged by a massive beast. He did not dare to come closer. Patriarch Miao and other elders had come.

"What happened to him?" Patriarch Miao asked.

"Well, we got our revenge. He put our brother into a coma and possibly into death. So, we put him in a cripple state. He is awake, but he can not do anything except defecate." Yu Qi replied.

"You..." Patriarch Miao was speechless.

He wanted to say something but he did not dare to. Cheng Sung, who caused this whole mess. It was fair that they punished Cheng Sung.

"Patriarch, please save me." Cheng Sung begged.

"Save you? After you betray your family’s trust?" Patriarch Miao responded.

Cheng Sung was finished. Patriarch Miao ordered some people to bring Cheng Sung to prison. His position as an elder in their family had been terminated.

"Take care of him." Yu Qi said before they left the Miao Family.

Patriarch Miao took it as something. Yu Qi probably wanted Patriarch Miao not to let Cheng Sung die. They might come by.

Well, Patriarch Miao misunderstood that statement. Yu Qi did not want to come to this place again.

When they came out of the forest, it had been night already. They returned to the house where the soldiers were stationed.

Long Hui talked to Ren Qian Yi about the person who tried to target Long Hui. They launched the investigation about some people that they thought would be the suspect, Ezani Mathew.

Long Hui set the trap. And Ezani Mathew fell into the trap right away. It was a weaponry mercenary. He wanted to sell his weapon to the group that Long Hui and the soldiers destroyed. Because of losing his source of income, he wanted to kill Long Hui.

He grew up living with his mother who was a shaman. So, he believed Cheng Sung’s story about the Gu that could kill people. So, he tried using the Gu. The Gu did not hit the target but he was happy that he could hurt someone in that group.

After the inquiry, he knew that the person that got hit was the second in command in that group, he was really happy. He was thinking that he was not being caught because no one would able to track it back to him. He did not expect that Long Hui could track him from Cheng Sung.

He really thought that Cheng Sung was from that hidden tribe. So, Cheng Sung would be safe and as well as him.

Long Hui asked Yu Qi for the same poison that Yu Qi injected into Cheng Sung’s body. After Long Hui caught Ezani Mathew, he used that poison on Ezani Mathew. But Ezani Mathew did not notice that Long Hui used poison on him because the poison did not show any immediate effect.

Yu Qi asked Long Hui who he was going to use it. Long Hui told everything to Yu Qi. Yu Qi gave something else to Long Hui.

She explained to Long Hui that this poison had the same effect as the poison that she used on Cheng Sung but it had a delay time for the poison to take effect. She did not want Long Hui would be suspected to poison someone. It would ruin Long Hui’s position.

If Long Hui used this poison on Ezani Mathew, Ezani Mathew would be fine for a few days. Then, after that, the poison would take effect. Long Hui would catch Ezani Mathew and hand over Ezani Mathew to the authorities in the country. They would not suspect Long Hui when the poison took effect.

So, right after Long Hui catch Ezani Mathew, he restrained Ezani Mathew and did not let him drink and eat anything. Ezani Mathew told Long Hui that he had no authority on him and Long Hui could not deny his basic need.
