Chapter 2437: Chapter 2437: Follow Long Hui On The Mission

Yu Qi seemed to notice that Long Hui seemed to be texting someone recently. She wanted to know about it, but she was afraid that Long Hui would think she was controlling him.

Then, one day, Long Hui suddenly told her that he needed to go to the mission and that the mission required a female companion.

"Your mission needs you to act as a man with a lover?" Yu Qi was surprised to hear the mission.

"Yeah. We are investigating a ring lord. He was inviting some people to a beach resort. It is a great chance to capture him." Long Hui stated.

"Why don’t the military send someone else?" Yu Qi asked.

"They believed in me. And I don’t want to act like a lover with someone else. So, I am asking for your help." Long Hui said.

Yu Qi thought about it. It was Long Hui’s first time asking her about his work. He often helped her with her work. It might be a good time to repay him. So, Yu Qi agreed to help Long Hui with his work.

"Okay. When do you need me?" Yu Qi asked.

"Next week. Act like usual." Long Hui stated.

So, Yu Qi applied the days off for the mission. Her request had been approved. She did not notice that her family members also applied the same days off as her.

Yu Qi asked for more information about this ring lord. However, Long Hui said it was classified information. He could not reveal to anyone. He also informed Yu Qi not to ask Han Baise and Neko-chan to find information about the ring lord because it had a powerful hacker. If the hacker found out someone had been snooping about the ring lord, it would affect the mission, at once, it might even ruin the mission.

Yu Qi nodded. Actually, she was planning to do that. Luckily, Long Hui reminded her. Otherwise, she might jeopardise the mission and Long Hui’s safety.

On the day when they needed to go to the beach resort, Yu Qi was having a cramp because she was on her period. She did not know why she was feeling crampy. Maybe she was worried about the mission.

Long Hui told Yu Qi that she could sleep while he was driving. She nodded and fell asleep after drinking some medicine. The medicine made her feel sleepy.

When they arrived at the beach resort, Yu Qi was still sleeping. So, Long Hui decided not to wake her up and carried her to the assigned room. When he was carrying Yu Qi, they encountered Ming Yue and Tang Jung Wen.

"What is wrong with Yu Qi?" Ming Yue asked when she saw Yu Qi unconscious.

"She is fine. She is just sleeping. She has a cramp due to her period. So, I suggest that she sleep." Long Hui stated.

"I see. Quickly go to your room." Ming Yue said.

Long Hui nodded. He carried Yu Qi to the room. He gently placed Yu Qi on the bed.

15 minutes later, Yu Qi finally woke up from her sleep. She opened her eyes and looked warily at her surroundings. She was finally relieved when her eyes landed on Long Hui.

Long Hui also noticed Yu Qi waking up.

"Feeling better?" Long Hui asked.

"Hmm..." Yu Qi nodded.

"Do you want some warm tea?" Long Hui asked.

"Sure." Yu Qi nodded.

Long Hui prepared to make the tea. He was using the ancient technique that he often used to make the tea as Xie Likui. Yu Qi stood up and sat on the chair opposite Long Hui. She was staring at Long Hui. She seemed to see Xie Likui in Long Hui at the moment.

"Here..." Long Hui placed the tea in front of Yu Qi.

"Thank you." Yu Qi said.

She was surprised to smell the Fuding White Tea.

"This is Fuding White Tea. Where do you get them?" Yu Qi asked.

"I ask the resort if they have any tea leaves. They gave me those." Long Hui stated.

Yu Qi did not linger on the topic. She drank the tea and felt warm in her stomach.

"Your skill is still the same." Yu Qi smiled.

"I am glad that you feel that." Long Hui said.

"By the way, what are we going to do? Has the mission already started?" Yu Qi asked.

They had arrived at the beach resort. The ring lord was probably here as well. They needed to be careful. She was flustered because she did not know anything about the ring lord. Not his name, nor his look. She feared if she encountered him and did not know that it was him.

"I don’t think he is here yet. So, you don’t need to feel tense. But I hope we can stay in the room for the evening. I think his people are already here. There will be a party to celebrate the ring lord tonight." Long Hui stated.

"How about our side? Do you have any people to back you up?" Yu Qi asked.

"Of course, you don’t need to worry. We had been prepared for tonight." Long Hui nodded.

Hearing Long Hui had been prepared made Yu Qi relieved. She believed on Long Hui. If something happened to Long Hui and his team, she would be there to help them. She would not be interfere with Long Hui because she knew that Long Hui must had planned everything out.
