Chapter 2539: Expansion Plans

The team went back into the mountain cave.

Even the managers were stunned for a moment. Because they indeed noticed that the spiritual energy in the space was extremely dense. They could feel it.

It was so dense to the point, it became visible in a faint misty form.

"How is this possible? Only the highest level of formations within the academy realm can creature such an environment." One of them asked.

Sam smiled and said.

"I indeed can’t create a formation that could create such a dense and cultivation rich environment suitable for your level, at my level.

At least, not in normal circumstances.

But right now, the energy surging out of the shadow realm needs an outlet and I used a conversion mechanism to convert that incoming surge of energy into spiritual energy. It’s being channelled real time into this space."

"You don’t let anything go to waste, do you?"

"Inefficient use of resources is an insult to the process of creation."

Sam smiled and got back to his work. Everyone also replenished themselves.

Even though the formation was working well, Sam kept on testing it the whole day, to make sure there are no loopholes.

That night, they all gathered again for dinner.

"We successfully completed the first phase of our training.

The second phase is of course going to be on a much larger scale and that involves the whole island. For the past few days, I have been observing everything on this island.

The strongest creature is a Divine Plane Consummation peak stage. Right now, it’s ignoring us and I guessed as much, because all the territories on this island are going through constant battles between beasts and it never intervened."

As he said, the holographic map appeared over the stone dinner table they were sitting at.

"Right now, there are only two peaceful regions on this island. One is the current region that we blocked as our own territory.

We are more or less at the centre of the island, which helps us access other areas more easily.

Then the northern most region of this island, which is the territory of the apex predator of this island. Only some negligibly weaker beasts live there. The creature doesn’t even come inside the island to hunt. My guess is it gets its food and source of energy from the northern sea.

And unless there are big changes its not gonna intervene.

Which we are going to make.

So, we need to be very strategic with our approach.

Our final goal of Phase 2 in terms of territory is to occupy the whole island. We need to do it one month exactly.

As for cultivation, I don’t believe the managers can have another breakthrough within a month. But still absorb as many inheritances as possible and eat as much meat as you can. Take in as much energy as you need.

I need you to be as close to the late stage as you can be, by the end of this month. Even if its just ten percent progress, I want to see it.

But us, on the other hand, try to breakthrough to the pre-transcendence.

We have been initiation for long enough. But even if you don’t we will move to the next phase."

"Don’t you think we have been cultivating too fast?" Philip asked in concern.

Sam understood it. Actually, apart from Sam not a lot of the team members were naturally gifted enough to be in the Divine Plane.

However, with Sam’s efficient methods and means, they always managed to progress. That too without losing their foundation. In fact, their foundation is a lot more stable and powerful than most of the academy realm students.

He is worried that in the rush they were, they are going to lose it.

He figured he might as well reassure them.

"I understand that you are skeptical about this. But you need not be worried.

In fact, if we don’t do this... we are going to fall back compared to the people in the academy realm." Everyone was surprised.

"I am not kidding. This is something that came straight out of Ling Tian.

He said that the conquest always follows the same path.

The first three months there is going to be rigorous conquest. Every academy went after as much territory as they can.

The next three months is going to be stability of the conquered territory and completely taking over the civilizations within there.

After those six months, for the next four and half years for which the conquest continues, it is going to be constant phase of improvement. With the increasing points people are going to buy more and more inheritances.

They are going to cultivate faster and go past the grades faster.

That is the whole purpose of the conquest in the first place.

Basically, gods open the spatial pathways to the unexplored worlds. Their followers go there and spread faith and based on the progress of faith, they give them points which can be exchanged for the things that improve the follower strength.

Right now, we are not seeing the frenzy in purchases of the divine inheritances, mostly because the individual points were not that many in the first phase of conquest.

But as time passes, the points multiply and people are going to get their hands on inheritances more.

I am just giving us a head start."

Even the managers were not aware of this new information. They were all stunned and they all had one question on their minds.

’Why the heck would Gods do something so generous?’ The chance to have rapid growth in Divine plane is too expensive compared to whatever faith they would get.

"What’s to come after that is a story for another time."

Sam answered even before they asked.

"Now. Back to the current strategy. We are going to start expanding now. We have eight regions to conquer and we will start with the western part.

But, you are not going to kill Land crocs anymore.

Every land croc from now on, must be captured. Keep that in mind.
