Chapter 2514: Another mission

While the Olympian region was full of newcomers storming in, the other regions encountered a different type of Chaos.

Except for the Olympian academies, in other regions only a few academies were truly targeted and faced severe damages. Of course, some player academies were included and some people that truly participated in targeting Sam were also included.

But that’s about it.

A lot of academies were standing strong with minimal damage.

And of course, that created a whole different problem there. The resource points of the now weakened academies were targeted. In fact, that happened right after the big incident, but with each passing day, it just increased.

So, when they saw the Olympian academies take such a drastic but a step that actually makes sense, they figured they would do the same.

Basically, in all the regions, new blood was flooding in.

Back in the remote region of Darkhan.

Inside the mountain.

Sam sat in meditation along with rest of his friends. Even the beasts were brought out as they also closed their eyes and entered a similar meditative state.

Unlike his friends, Sam didn’t use the inheritance to increase his cultivation. He followed a different method. The one that suits his constitution really well.

The consumption method.

Most efficient method for Sam to increase his spiritual energy or divine energy is actually through food, just like any other beast.

And usually to make sure that they are not overloaded, every beast just consumes the flesh of the beasts on the same level or a beast one or two levels higher.

Even though, the flesh and blood of much stronger beasts have higher nutritional value, sometimes consuming them will be too much for their bodies.

However, while decoding the way to use the inheritances for a faster cultivation, Sam also figured out a way to consume the flesh of a higher level beast and increase their cultivation faster.

That’s why, even though they are in initiation of divine plane, they managed to consume the meat of consummation stage beast.

Honestly, even a bowl of meat was too much and had too much energy for them to digest. They would have exploded or even destroyed their meridian network if they tried to digest it forcefully, or they would have had to wait for days, weeks or even months to full digest it.

"What looks like a Monitor lizard on the screen is actually what I call a Varanid. Except for some distinct features, they are really that different from Monitor Lizard.

These creatures are much smaller compared to the targets I set for our managers. And the strongest these creatures could ever grow in this region is Early Stage pre-transcendence. Mostly because, by that time it would reach its maturity and also it would be most delicious.

The Land crocs feast on these creatures once they hit that.

In fact, the Land Crocs here are smart enough to maintain a pseudo-farm of these creatures. They let these Varanids to stay and run freely within a potion of this mountain range. They let them grow and once they hit the cultivation limit they come and take them away, feasting on them.

They are high in number and very very strong.

Your goal is for each team to hunt three of these creatures. You won’t have your usual equipment and trinkets. The only thing you will have is a formation disc per team that will act as a barrier.

Track down a Varanid, trap it in the barrier along with you guys, use your training equipment and defeat them one by one. The team with the wild card, should hunt for an extra Varanid by the way.

The only good thing about it is that while they are fast, they are not exactly agile or known for their speed. Their defense is pretty high because of the thick skin. But once you are caught in its grip...

Either in the jaws, or if it coiled against you, even with the tail, you would be dead meat.

You are targeting pre-transcendence creatures, so they already have a power advantage, so set up your barrier range well and attack them properly.

Same as I told them, keep their bodies intact as much as possible. I have a lot of use for them. Including their blood and innards.

Sam entered the divine dimension.
