Chapter 2335: Vs Rashma II

Instead of getting angry or showing her frustration on her face, Rashma wore a smile.

A pleasant smile as if he was surprised by a gift. Even though she just took a beating. Sam grew extra cautious. He believed that when dealing with people like Rashma who is obviously stronger than him, he has to make sure that their mind is not stable.

Only in a moment of insanity can he trump over them.

In fact, that is what those fiery explosions are for and it didn't seem like they served their purpose fully.

His energy vision is on high alert. When he noticed the slight twitch in the energy around her, he made a move.

*BAM* *BAM* *BAM*

He even took out the second hand gun and he shot a bunch of cards.

*BOOM*

The cards around the crater created by Rashma exploded, but this time they were neither the fiery explosions, nor were they energy explosions Sam is usually very handy this. This time, they are explosions created by excessive gravitational force.

With explosion of every card, there is a gravitational field.

Rashma felt the pulling force from all these different directions. She couldn't move and was stuck in the place. No matter which direction she wanted to move. Left, right, up and down, she felt a very strong force resisting her movement.

It hurt really bad.

Of course, she didn't want to surrender to such a trick. She started charging up her spiritual energy. Sam also knew he wouldn't be able to stop her with such an attack. So, he made a

move.

He charged a special bullet in the gun and aimed at the spot a few inches above her head.

*BAM*

The bullet exploded on top of her head and a cloud of black smoke erupted. It is not the same cloud as the one he absorbed before. This one is his own creation. It is but a curse that he prepared beforehand.

The smoke permeated through her skin, at the same time when she exploded with her spiritual energy.

*BAM*

She stomped her leg on the ground, at the same spot. The shockwave of spiritual energy disrupted the gravitational forces.

*BOOM* *BOOM*

A series of explosions rang out, destroying the whole stage. The cards that Sam left behind in those nine floating areas are also blown away. Sam blocked the shockwave with a barrier and clicked his tongue.

The cards did serve their purpose, which is to be good distractions. However, he did want to use them once again.

Rashma walked out of the cloud of dust she created. The rubble is spread everywhere and there is barely any stage that they could see. The only intact part without any cracks is one where Sam stood and it is very small.

Rashma slowly walked towards him. Her skin has various black patches courtesy to the curse imbued by the black smoke.

However, under the surprised gazes of everyone, the black patches started moving. Even to Sam's surprise, they moved from their original spots on her body towards her arm. The movement started slow and it gained momentum soon enough.

All that curse has been condensed into her palm, which then turned into a fist.

*SWOOSH*

She disappeared and reappeared in front of Sam and punched on his barrier.

*CRASH*

The barrier broke, and from those cracks, the curse flew at Sam in its black smokey form, enveloping him, before he disappeared using his spatial blink.

*BAM*

Her punch didn't even make contact with the ground, but just the force is enough to shave off that last bit of the stage.

It wasn't even five minutes since their fight started and they have already destroyed the stage.

Rashma looked around to find Sam's location. However, he is nowhere to be seen. She frowned and observed the surroundings more keenly.

*BAM*

She jumped and dropped a heel kick on the rubble of a particular spot. The rubble cleared and her leg went through something solid. However, to her surprise it is a shadow. One of Sam's shadow undead creatures.

The shadow exploded into black smoke and disappeared from existence.

However, at the same time, Sam appeared right behind her. Levitating in their air with the gun in his hands, aimed at her back in point blank range.

*CLICK*

He pulled the trigger, but when the bullet is still travelling through the barrel, she turned around swiftly almost hitting him. Sam condensed a barrier to his side, all ready to defend the attack. He was sent flying like a broken kite even though most of it is absorbed by the barrier.

*BOOM*

The bullet didn't hit her clean, instead it brushed against her shoulder and exploded there.

She was also sent flying.

Both of them stood up from the rubble.

Sam is bleeding from his mouth, his arm bone is broken and he is sure that several of his ribs had cracks. There might even be some perforation in his lung.

Rashma's injuries are much less serious. But her arm had a deep dash which is also burned. The bleeding still didn't stop though. The pain is searing.

She looked at Sam and a smile bloomed on her face despite all the pain in the wound. Sam

didn't wait or hesitate, he made a move.

A pack of cards was thrown into the air.

When they were about to fall all around her, she punched into the air and blew those cards away. But Sam didn't mind the position of the cards. He took out a special bullet and shot the

card closest to him.

*BOOM*

With an explosion, the card disintegrated into ashes. The remaining cards started glowing with black and red light. Giants snakes conjured out of those cards and all of them shot

towards her.

The energy of curse and the fire combined together attacked her from all the directions. Meanwhile, Sam took a potion to heal a bit, as he got ready with his next attack. He decided to

take another pack of cards, but...

*BOOM*

All those cursed fiery snakes exploded into nothing and he was blown away just from the residual shockwave. He went past the stage area and hit the wall separating the arena from

the stands.

He broke the wall almost to smithereens.

His back didn't even touch the ground before Rashma appeared in front of him and slammed her foot into his chest.

Sam groaned in pain and coughed up blood. He gritted his teeth and used the earth fusion. He instantly dissolved himself into the ground, disappearing from her sight and senses.

She hurriedly levitated in the air, hoping to not get caught in his hands. Sam is thinking, how to proceed. He could bring out beasts, he could use some of his puppets, undead creatures, spatial attacks. However, judging by the performance he has seen, he didn't think anything would be effective.

Bringing out beasts will only increase the damage she will cause.

They are fast, but apart from Hopper, Raiju and Shadow mice, the others might not be a match for her in speed. Right now, her damage is limited because he is the only target.

To increase his chances, he needs to slow her down. With his current strength, only the resonance attacks and poison are his strengths. The cursed poison he used before was repelled

back though.

As his thoughts are running wild, Sam suddenly felt a huge tremor.

*BAM*

The ground split open revealing Sam's location. He activated the blink and disappeared from there. He appeared behind her back, dropped a bullet and disappeared from there again.

She is faster than before. She was fast enough to try to slap the bullet away, but when it made

contact, it exploded.

She was blown back once again. Hitting the ground. She stabilized herself and kicked the ground, launching herself into the air. From that position she threw a punch towards Sam.

The shockwave made him stick to the ground.

He could feel small fractures appearing on his bone. He once again disappeared into the ground and reappeared far away to shoot another cursed bullet at her.

He disappeared as soon as he pulled the trigger, he didn't even wait for the bullet to reach her.

*BOOM*

When it did reach, it gave out a flashy, eye-blinding explosion that put her in a daze just for a moment, then Sam made a different move. His body with full shadow fusion appeared behind

her.

He grabbed her by her clothes and activated the bloodline attack. Both of them disappeared into the shadow world.

The blinding lights cleared and the destroyed stage came into everyone's sight. But there is

no sign of the two competitors. They were dumbfounded. Every expert there did notice the huge residue of the shadow energy and spatial energy.

But they just assumed it is Sam's attack, but didn't expect both of them would be gone.

One minute later.

*SWOOSH*

A spatial tear opened up with a huge wave of shadow energy coming out of it. Two figures dropped from there, entangled against each other.
