My Ex-husband Regrets After Signing The Divorce

Chapter 92 - Visit

Chapter 92: Visit

“She’s in the hospital now. She can’t go,” Chen Chen said simply.

“What? Didn’t she just visit us yesterday? Why is she in the hospital today?” Chen Chen’s mother shouted from the other end.

“Ah, what’s wrong with Ran Ran? Give me your phone!” Grandma’s voice came from the other end of the line again. She snatched the phone away. “What’s going on? Did you bully her?”

Chen Chen did not know whether to laugh or cry. “Grandma, how can I bully her?! If I didn’t save her, she would have lost her life.”

“It’s that serious? Which hospital is she at now? Your mother and I will go see her now!” Grandma’s voice was very anxious.

“There’s no need to be in such a hurry. She has already woken up. The doctor said to observe her in the hospital for two more days. If there are no sequelae, she can go home!” Chen Chen explained. To be honest, he really did not want Grandma and Mom to come to the hospital. After all, there was another person in this hospital that they did not want to see.

With Hu Wan’s torment, how could she not know if they were really coming? Perhaps another conflict would occur.

“Don’t say it so casually! Tell me, what happened to Ran Ran?!” Grandma’s voice turned cold as she spoke, not allowing for rejection.

“She was poisoned by gas last night, so I sent her to the hospital,” Chen Chen said.

“How could this be? Was Ran Ran careless or did someone do this deliberately?” Grandma asked the key question.

“Grandma, don’t worry about this. I’ll investigate clearly and take good care of her. When she’s discharged, I’ll bring her to see you guys,” Chen Chen comforted. He touched his forehead. His head hurt when he thought of them coming.

“Why don’t you let us go, kid?!” Grandma sensed that something was wrong and said suspiciously, “Tell me, what are you hiding from us?”

“Uh… Hu Wan is also in this hospital…” Chen Chen said hesitantly.

“No wonder. You’ve been hiding it all along,” Grandma said speechlessly. “So what? Let’s see our Ran Ran. It’s none of her business.”

In the afternoon, Chen Chen’s mother and grandmother brought two servants over with a lot of bags.

The moment they entered the ward, Bai Ran shouted in surprise, “Ah, Mom, Grandma, why are you here?”

“I knew you were in the hospital, so I definitely came to see you.” Grandma smiled at Bai Ran. This granddaughter-in-law was so obedient even when she was sick. The more she looked at her, the more she liked her.

“But this is…” Bai Ran watched as the two servants in front of her kept putting down things and tidying up.

“These are for you to eat and use! You’ve been aggrieved being hospitalized. You definitely have to settle everything else!” Grandma looked at Bai Ran with heartache.

“Grandma, it’s not that troublesome! The hospital has everything. Besides, I’ll be discharged soon!” Bai Ran said.

“Mom is right. Ran Ran, you’re too kind-hearted. You don’t fuss about anything. Look at the ward Chen Chen arranged for Hu Wan. What did he arrange for you?” Chen Chen’s mother looked at the surrounding facilities and was a little unhappy.

“No, I came in at the last minute yesterday. I’m already very lucky to be able to have a ward,” Bai Ran explained with a smile.

Grandma walked to Bai Ran and held her hand. “Child, you should ask Chen Chen for the best from him. You’re his wife, you have the right to want it!”

“Grandma, but we’re almost…” Bai Ran was a little hesitant as she said slowly.

Grandma interrupted her directly and said, “I’m not listening! Believe me, you two will never get a divorce!”

“Grandma, this is not something you can decide…” Bai Ran said as she lowered her head.

She really should not have said this in front of Grandma. Grandma should say whatever she wanted. The more she said, the more difficult it would be for Grandma and Chen Chen.

“I don’t care! Anyway, if you want to see me lying here one day, then get a divorce!” Grandma shook her head and rejected them hard.
