My Ex-husband Regrets After Signing The Divorce

Chapter 70 - Amusement Ground

Chapter 70: Amusement Ground

Chen Chen did not dare to move. He rubbed his head, which was still in pain, with his other hand and recalled what had happened.

As his thoughts were gradually sorted out, Chen Chen also recalled the scene of the two of them affectionately calling each other by their nicknames last night. That dusty childhood memory was also pulled out.

Chen Chen looked at the obedient little deer in his arms and thought to himself that she was still his Tian Tian.

“Uh…” Bai Ran muttered softly and opened her eyes.

She rubbed her sleepy eyes and realized that Chen Chen was smiling at her.

“Did you sleep well?” Chen Chen asked.

“Er, not bad.” Bai Ran could not stand the magnified handsome face in front of her. She quickly straightened her body. “Are you still dizzy? Do you feel uncomfortable?”

“I’m fine.” Chen Chen sat up as well.

“Then do you still remember what we said last night?” Bai Ran probed.

“I remember,” Chen Chen said seriously as he looked at Bai Ran.

“Are you sure?” Bai Ran was surprised. Her eyes instantly widened. “Then tell me.”

“I won’t say anything. It’s fine as long as I know.” Chen Chen suddenly smiled.

“…” Bai Ran pursed her lips in disdain. It seemed like he did not remember. Otherwise, why did he not address her so intimately like last night?

“It’s the weekend. You don’t have to go to work. Do you want me to bring you out to play?” Chen Chen suddenly suggested.

“Don’t you need to work and accompany Sister Hu Wan?” Bai Ran asked.

“It’s okay if my work falls behind for a day. As for her, you don’t have to worry about her.” At the mention of Hu Wan, Chen Chen’s expression changed.

“She’ll be unhappy if she finds out that you went out with me instead of accompanying her.” Bai Ran was awake now. Returning to reality, she was someone who was about to become his ex-wife.

“Don’t mention her. Let today belong to us, okay?” Chen Chen looked into Bai Ran’s eyes and asked sincerely.

Bai Ran bit her lip. In the end, she could not resist the stirring in her heart. The gentle “Tian Tian” kept echoing in her mind as she said, “Okay.”

“Where do you want to go?” Bai Ran asked again.

“I want to go to the amusement park,” Chen Chen said with a smile as he blinked.

“Huh?” Bai Ran’s eyes widened. “What are you thinking? A company president going to an amusement park?”

“Yes.” Chen Chen smiled meaningfully. “I want to go no matter what today.”

Bai Ran looked at Chen Chen’s smile and suddenly felt that this suggestion was very good. When she was young and was still very close to Chen Chen, the two of them often pestered the adults to go to the amusement park together, leaving behind many memories that still touched Bai Ran.

If she felt it again now, this feeling…

Let her be selfish and leave behind some good memories.

They went immediately. After a hurried breakfast, Chen Chen drove Bai Ran to the city’s most famous amusement park.

“I haven’t been here for many years. I didn’t expect so many new rides to be added,” Bai Ran sighed as she looked at the dazzling array of facilities in front of her.

“Yes, let’s play all the projects today and relive our past happiness!” Chen Chen said as he ran to the ticket office.

Bai Ran stood there in a daze.

Relive their happiness from back then? Was this recognition of his past? Wasn’t he unwilling to remember it all these years? He was even unwilling to acknowledge that title when he was awake!

As she was thinking, Bai Ran suddenly felt a burning pain on her face. Her thoughts were pulled back.

“You little slut, you still dare to come out and fool around with Chen Chen!” a woman opposite her scolded fiercely.

Bai Ran knew this person too. She was Hu Wan’s mother.

“Auntie, you’re…” Bai Ran touched her swollen face and frowned, feeling a little unhappy.

“Stop pretending! I saw you coming with Chen Chen!” Hu Wan’s mother said sternly. “If you have the time to play with Chen Chen, hurry up and register the divorce certificate for me! My daughter, Hu Wan, doesn’t have time to wait any longer!”

“Auntie, you’re wrong. Is it me who doesn’t want to get a divorce?” Bai Ran was very speechless.
