"Where is mama?" I asked as they were never here to eat with me during meals.
At least come visit your daughter during meals! I only ever get to see you both when I'm exhausted from the day! I need to collect more information.
"Ah, she's being checked on by a doctor as of now,"
"Why?"
Huh? Why would somebody as strong as her need a check-up.
It seems the maids noticed my disarray and lightly chuckled as it seems I sort of looked worried to them… but I was just mostly confused.
"Seems the young miss is quite proficient in English… what a genius… well, your mother is stressed all the time, and having a baby didn't really make that any better. Plus, after your other mother went back since there was an emergency, she's been having too much trouble on her plate,"
"You know what might make her feel better… if you checked up on her,"
I quickly hopped out of the chair to go see my greatest enemy die before my eyes, and as the maid of ice took my hand, we walked down the hallway.
Yet there was this feeling deep inside of me that filled me with an endless amount of worry that continued to persist all the way until we reached the door.
Dammit… this must be because I want to kill that woman so badly, and I can't just let her die from stress!
As the maid slowly opened the door, I saw my mom with a strange needle in her arm that led to a bag of clear liquid.
"Ah… Ada, were you worried?" My mother asked, as she was white as a ghost and unbelievably pale.
"A-Are you okay?" I stuttered, slipping over my own tongue as my mother sat in the middle of this massive tatami room where she normally worked, being supplied with some kind of strange liquid.
"Don't worry baby, I'm fine… this is nothing… *cough* *cough*... Shit… Take her away… I need to finish something up before I rest again,"
"Mistress, I believe it is time for you to go on vacation or at least take a short break to try and recover some of your strength. If you take this any further, you might-"
Suddenly, the maid of death covered my ears as the maid of fire continued to suggest multiple ideas to my mother.
"*sigh*... fine… but after I finish my work now… on top of that, I already have my assistant doing tons of things… shit… maybe it's time we stop expanding…."
"Mistress, I will call the executives back. They will take over from here… so please just get some rest. I'm sure they'll be understanding as well,"
"O-Okay," My mother muttered before slowly standing up and unhooking the needle from her forearm.
She slowly walked up to me and then crouched down, stroking my face ever so slightly with the warmest smile I had ever received in my life.
And at that point, I knew I had to let go of my past thoughts and focus on the present… since hating this woman who has only done good will… be bad.
It was a sudden change of heart that took me a while to actually process, but once I felt it scrape out the polluted parts of my soul, I felt happier and determined to help out my mother.
She was no longer the woman I hated just because she wouldn't give me the thing I desperately needed… but my mother who has only taken care of me…
"Mama," I muttered lightly, pressing my arms across her chest since my arms weren't long enough to wrap around, and as I hugged her, I saw her lightly cry.
My new objective in life is to make sure neither of my mothers will cry ever again… I'll help them and stay on their side no matter what.
"I love you so much," She sobbed as she hugged me the tightest she had ever done since my rebirth.
"I love you too," I muttered, and as I comforted my mother, who completely broke down in tears, I looked to my maids for just a quick second and began to formulate a plan that would help out my mother.
…
A few months passed, and I became a young teen who looked around thirteen or possibly fourteen years old.
And the time has finally come for me to put my plan into action.
Slowly, I pushed the door open to my mother's office, which was literally just a large tatami room with a pair of glasses that she used for this technology called augmented reality.
It let her manage and work on things that weren't really there unless you had the glasses on.
"Mama…" I muttered, putting on the cutest and most adorable face I could muster, but just before my mother turned around, I felt a pair of warm hands pick me up and place them on the owner's shoulder.
"Ada, mommy is working right now," My other mother said, and as I lightly pouted, she poked my cheek with a light chuckle.
"Mommy, I want to study!" I immediately demanded since I knew this woman right here wouldn't be able to reject my requests.
Mama barely spoiled me, while mommy spoiled me so much that one time I was up to the neck in gold inside my massive bedroom.
"Oho! And what do you want to study, young miss!?"
"I want to study how to manage Tolf!" I shouted, and mommy's discreet expression lightly lowered into a more serious smile.
"Welp… that is a no can do. You can pick anything else but that… we'll teach you later, but for now, you should work on the basics. How about we start you off with math, English, and science? From there, you can branch out into other subjects… how about that?"
"No! I want to learn how to manage Tolf!" I shouted in protest, completely baffled at how this mom actually rejected my request.
"Ugh… you spoiled brat," I heard mama's voice slowly penetrate through the air and when I turned around, my eyes lit up.
