Under the peach tree, Fu Xi and Sun Wukong sat cross-legged on the ground.
Fu Xi tossed a Flat Peach into his mouth, bit down, and his mouth filled with juice, sweet and fragrant.
After finishing the Flat Peach, he grabbed a jug of wine nearby and drank it dry in one go: "Refreshing, bring me another jug!"
In no time, there were already dozens of empty wine jugs lying beside him.
"This calamity's capacity for liquor is too great."
Watching from a distance, the green-headed one couldn't help feeling bitter: "At this rate, the wine we've saved for thousands of years will be drained by him."
"I'm going to slaughter him!"
The white-headed one said angrily.
"Me too."
The green-headed one greatly agreed, "You go first?"
"Fang Mountain!"
The white-headed one immediately turned around, looking towards the Mountain God, "Quick, think of a way to send Fu Xi off!"
"Today is my birthday."
The Mountain God said indifferently, "The animals have prepared many brewed wines for me; bring those over, and they could get Fu Xi drunk."
Both dragons' eyes lit up, "Then we'll go get it now!"
"That's possible, but you must agree to something."
The Mountain God continued, "Afterwards, you must give a few unripe Medicine Peaches to the immortal."
"Okay, okay..."
The two dragons turned and headed for the Mountain God's place.
In the Blessed Land, Sun Wukong and Fu Xi started talking about Heavenly Destiny.
"Heavenly Destiny is a rule set by the Heavenly Emperor in ancient times; those who follow it will prosper, those who resist it will perish."
Fu Xi explained, "Those who go against it will be unlucky. Because I fulfill Heavenly Destiny, I am able to be so powerful."
Sun Wukong was curious, "Has there ever been anyone who defied Fu Xi?"
"Of course, there has."
Fu Xi smiled, "In the end, they all died. Heavenly Destiny will make Nuwa mend the heavens, and Reincarnation will not change in the slightest."
Sun Wukong fell into deep thought.
The two dragons soon carried over some wine brewed by animals.
"Great Fu Xi."
They casually filled up a jug for Fu Xi.
Fu Xi drank it in one gulp, and then suddenly his eyes popped open.
"This, this..."
He looked at the wine jug incredulously, "With such good wine, why didn't you bring it out earlier!"
The two dragons repeatedly apologized.
Fu Xi picked up the wine jug and started drinking.
Sun Wukong felt something was off, so he did not drink.
"Why aren't you drinking?"
Fu Xi asked after belching contentedly.
"I want to ask you to spare the giant turtle."
Sun Wukong said.
Looking at the giant turtle beside him, Fu Xi nodded, "You have done me a kindness, I promise not to eat this turtle."
The giant turtle was stunned, and so was Sun Wukong.
"Besides, my sister is no longer able to mend the skies, one more turtle is of no importance!"
Fu Xi laughed as he explained.
It turns out he had burned up all the Five-Colored Divine Stones in the world, and for Nuwa to mend the sky, she could only refine Divine Stones from five-colored clay.
But because of Sun Wukong's influence, the animals had all taken the five-colored clay to dye things.
"The Great God is my lucky star!"
Fu Xi laughed out loud.
Sun Wukong frowned slightly.
Fu Xi laughed heartily for a while, and then suddenly furrowed his brows.
"What's wrong..."
He touched his stomach and suddenly felt uncomfortable.
"I'll go home for a moment to attend to my needs; Great God, wait here, I'll return and continue drinking."
After saying this, Fu Xi got up and left.
Once he was gone, the two dragons immediately jubilantly relocated the Flat Peaches to another place.
Sun Wukong also got two Flat Peaches from the Mountain God.
He decided to go find Nuwa first.
At the East Sea, a Heavenly Pond, several white cranes flapped their wings and took flight.
A frustrated Nuwa, holding a Sky-Supporting Pillar, stirred the vast Heavenly Pond, gnashing her teeth, "No matter what, I have to wash out the red clay."
In the Heavenly Pond, the pink Bear Demons were struggling.
"Mom, I'm almost scrubbed raw, why won't she let us go!"
The Clan Leader of the bears cried out.
They were indeed unlucky, having barely escaped others' pursuits, only to run into Nuwa immediately after.
"I always said it would be better to shave the hair off with a knife."
The old female bear was irate, "It's all your fault for wanting to dye it; now look, we've dyed it too prettily, and even Nuwa is jealous!"
A bear constantly foaming at the mouth drifted past on the surface of the pond, and the Clan Leader, seeing this, was even more shocked.
"Why is Dad here! Wasn't he hairless?"
"That fool scalded his skin red!"
The old female bear shouted, "Nuwa thought he was dyed as well!"
Before she could finish, the Sky-Supporting Pillar swept her up into the whirlpool and started scrubbing.
"Quiet down, all of you!"
Nuwa said exasperatedly, "You idiots have used up all the last red clay in the world; how am I supposed to mend the sky!"
"I don't believe it can't be washed out!"
She vigorously stirred the Heavenly Pond, attempting to wash out the red clay.
This stirring was disastrous; the Bear Demons were left retching in the Heavenly Pond, a sight for sore eyes.
"Stop it!"
Suddenly a voice sounded.
Nuwa turned around to see a golden light descending from the heavens.
Sun Wukong appeared at the edge of the Heavenly Pond, holding a small turtle, "Let them go."
"It's you."
Nuwa's face darkened, "Do you realize what you have done?"
"Now I do."
Sun Wukong set down the small turtle, which transformed into a giant turtle at the pond's edge, squatting and vomiting.
Sun Wukong looked towards the Heavenly Pond, knowing that because of him, the red clay had been used by the Bear Demons for dyeing.
"Now that's done, the Five-Colored Divine Stones can no longer be forged."
Nuwa said to Sun Wukong, "You've killed me!"
"I will help you find the red clay; let them go."
Sun Wukong said.
"Fine."
Nuwa retracted the Sky-Supporting Pillar, "If you don't get it, what then?"
"I'll help you mend the skies."
Sun Wukong replied.
"No need."
Nuwa shook her head, "Just marry me."
Sun Wukong was stunned.
"I'd rather marry a stranger than my brother!"
Nuwa said through clenched teeth.
"Then marry me instead."
The giant turtle whispered.
Nuwa turned her head to look at it, "Can you defeat my brother?"
The giant turtle promptly retracted its head.
