Though it was known that this war would be a bottomless pit, the endless stream of Asura Clan warriors still gambled with their lives, plunging into battle.

They were once held back, but as the radiance of the Heavenly Palace faded and more of their kin arrived, the morale of the Asura Clan continued to soar; the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals soon lost the first line of defense, and the flames of war entered the Thirty-two Layers of Heaven.

The battle unfolded along the banks of the Milky Way.

Immortals formed an immense barrier to resist the further spread of the Asura Clan.

The white light, like a blade tearing through darkness, charged lightning-fast towards the Thirty-Three Layered Heaven. It was so bright that it immediately caught everyone's attention.

"What is that!"

In the Thirty-Three Layered Heaven, the nine-headed Vimocidra was engaged in battle with the Immortals led by Heavenly King Li.

Seeing the light surging upward, Nezha and the other Immortals did not hesitate at all, immediately dodging aside.

This was the first time the Jade Emperor had seen anyone light a fire in such a manner.

"What about that snake up there?"

The Jade Emperor asked.

"No need."

Sun Wukong, holding a chess piece, said, "That's just an avatar."

In the Thirty-Three Layered Heaven, Emperor Qinghua noticed a black snake not far behind him.

The black snake blended with the darkness, emitting no presence, nor reflecting any light. If not for the light cast by Sun Wukong, Emperor Qinghua would have had a hard time noticing it.

At that moment, the black snake's face was full of astonishment, seemingly not expecting to be discovered so soon.

"I see."

Emperor Qinghua let out a cold chuckle: "Such a sly youngster dares to compete with Your Majesty for glory!"

He wielded the Nine-Colored Lotus, shattering the black snake in an instant.
