After approximately three hours, Corey and Anna finished their conversation. They had spent over six hours talking to one another, and six hours was a long period of time, to Corey and Anna, it was an extremely short period of time.
It was like they had only spent a few minutes of peace, laughter, and happiness.
And the brother and sister loved every second of it.
After Anna finished telling Corey that happened to her, they both became silent and stared at the clear blue sky for a minutes in silence.
"You created this place for the two of us, right? And the sky too?"
Corey glanced at her from the corner of his eyes, and then she shifted his gaze to the sky.
"Yeah. I did."
"That's so cool. So you can create somewhere like this all the time and in any place?"
Corey shook his head. "Nahh. It's because I'm fused with the world tree, and this is literally the domain of the world tree. If we're in the outside world, it would be extremely difficult for me to do something like this."
"Ohh..." Anna looked to the side a few seconds later, and her golden draconic pupils constricted slightly and she was able to see the destruction that was outside the garden Corey had created.
"You know... I loved watching anime so much and I loved seeing my favourite anime characters cause a lot of destruction and death... But seeing it in real life... It's a completely different feeling."
"Sometimes... I wonder if mum and dad would have been able to cope with all these death and destruction around us... I miss them a lot."
Corey remained silent for a long time and he stared at the clouds in the sky with a reminiscent expression.
"I miss them too... a lot actually."
"Yeah." Anna's lips curled into a light smile. "Do you know that I barely know what mum and dad look like? I'm afraid I'll forget their faces as I grow older."
Corey chuckled softly, and then he snapped his fingers.
A frame of their mum and dad appeared in front of Anna, and she stunned at first before her eyes began to tear up.
"Mum. Dad."
Anna grabbed the frame, and tears began streaming down her face.
"I'm...sob... I'm sorry I was so weak... sob... to protect you. I'm sorry."
Anna held the frame close to her chest, and Corey glanced at her with a complicated and sad expression.
"It's not just on you. We were both weak to protect them. If I was stronger, I would have left the school before they got killed. I'm also to blame for their deaths."
Anna said nothing and just kept on sobbing while hugging the pictures, and Corey did nothing or said nothing else after telling her those words.
He only released a sigh and stared at the clouds.
After some minutes, Anna stopped crying and wiped her tears. She looked at the frame one more time before shifting her gaze to Corey.
"Can I keep this?"
"Sure."
Anna nodded, and then she sent this to her spatial ring on her finger.
Corey glanced at it, and then he remembered about the spatial ring that was given to him by the Old Man, the Wandering Paragon who introduced him to the world of Paragons and Supremes.
'Now that I think about it, wasn't the spatial ring on Prince in his Neo-mutant form?'
Corey's eyes turned pure white, and then he looked for the remnant traces of Prince. He saw nothing, but after searching with the help of his Stars of Consciousness, he finally found the spatial ring underneath a stone.
It was hidden and one would be lucky to find it. Fortunately for Corey, he didn't need luck to find the spatial ring.
Since he already knew its appearance and aura, his Stars of Consciousness could do the rest for him.
He opened his right hand, and his hand emitted a dark grey light. His Void Force pulsed, and the spatial ring appeared in his palm, and Corey observed it for a moment before looking inside it.
His brows were raised in slight surprise.
"Is that your spatial ring? I thought you stored your things in your system storage?" Anna asked with a tinge of curiosity in her tone.
"Yeah. It's mine. I thought I had lost it, but fortunately, I've gotten it back." Corey sent the spatial ring into his Tri-Pupil Eyes, and Anna raised her brows in surprise.
"You sent it back into your system storage? Why?"
Corey shook his head. "I didn't. I have a storage space in my eyes, so I don't need to store things in my system storage or my spatial ring."
Anna's eyes widened in disbelief and shock, and she moved forward while staring into Corey's eyes with immense curiosity.
"You can store things inside your eyes? That's so fucking cool! How do you do it? What type of eyes do you have? I have dragon eyes, but even I cannot store something inside my eyes."
Corey chuckled softly at her excitement, and then he pointed at his eyes.
His pure white eyes changed to his Eyes of Dreams and Nightmares, and then it changed to his Tri-Pupil Eyes.
I have different kinds of eyes, and this eye can store things. It's much safer than storing things in a spatial ring and the system storage."
"Of course it is. Anybody can remove your spatial ring and if your brand level is way higher than another person's brand level, they can also check your system storage and even take things from it without your permission."
Corey nodded slightly. "I know. That's why it's very useful."
"Is there a way for me to get it?"
Corey chuckled. "Only if you became a part of my race. You're no longer a human, and I'm not longer a human too."
Anna pouted, and then she sat and released a soft sigh.
"What are we going to do from now on?"
