The Growth of a God

Chapter 7: Black Hole Life · Supermassive Individual (1/3)

At the same time, in the Undead Camp of the Divine Fall Realm.

"Who?"

The Immortal Stone, who was resting his eyes, suddenly opened them wide, watching vigilantly in front of him.

Now, the Immortal Stone had fully digested the heart from the Gods, and the massive skeletal body had grown golden flesh and hair.

From a distance, it looked like a mountain, the Immortal Stone standing tall on the earth, emitting a golden radiance comparable to the sun.

"No need to deliberately make such a loud noise, they can't hear it."

In a trance, an unusually twisted space appeared right in front of the Immortal Stone.

As if the endpoint of all matter, or a singularity capable of twisting everything...

Accompanied by a distortion of space, a completely pitch-black sphere suddenly appeared in front of the Immortal Stone.

"My companion already blocked our information source from the microscopic level before I came here..."

"So no matter how loudly you shout, no one can notice my presence."

As if to confirm its words, the black sphere suddenly started rotating slowly, the gravity it emitted pulling a nearby mountain towards it.

Bang! Crash!

In an instant, the enormous mountain shattered into countless pieces, integrating into the black sphere.

Such a huge commotion, such a strange sight...

The nearby Undead continued with their own actions as if they hadn't seen anything, not even glancing in this direction.

Bang!

Without a moment's hesitation.

The Immortal Stone suddenly stomped the ground and leapt towards the black sphere.

That massive body, like a mountain, turned into an unmatched momentum, its huge fist emanating dazzling light.

However, the black sphere had a mass far surpassing the Immortal Stone.

Buzz... Buzz... Buzz...

A terrifying gravitational force appeared once more, this time transforming entirely into a repulsive force on the Immortal Stone.

Rumble!

In an instant, mountains crumbled, earth shattered, and the aura soared to the sky.

Even with the Vajra Indestructible Body, the Immortal Stone, after crashing into the earth thousands of meters deep, couldn't help but feel as if all its bones were broken.

"Cough, cough..."

Uncontrollably coughing, the Immortal Stone struggled to lift its head, golden blood already trickling from the corners of its mouth.

Yet, the pain of the flesh could not extinguish the will of the Immortal Stone.

On the contrary, the more intense the pain, the more it fueled the Immortal Stone's fighting spirit, causing golden light to burst from its eyes.

"Don't be so defiant, you're already very strong."

Gently turning, the black sphere floated lightly in front of the Immortal Stone along the pit it had made.

"My body is compressed matter with the mass of an entire world."

"When I release gravity with all my strength, the entire world will be compressed into a 'singularity'."

"With your flesh and blood capable of withstanding my attacks, it can be considered a miracle throughout the All Heavens and Myriad Realms."

The voice of the black sphere remained calm and composed, making it impossible to doubt its words.

"You are... the Godslayer Civilization!"

Though phrased as a question, the Immortal Stone spoke with unusual certainty.

Sitting in the center of the Undead Camp did not mean the Immortal Stone was unconcerned with the outside world's happenings.

The Godslayer Civilization's declaration of war on the World of Fallen Gods had long reached the Immortal Stone's ears through Quinn's chatter.

That was the first time the Immortal Stone had seen Quinn looking so tense and serious, leaving a deep impression of the so-called Godslayer Civilization.

"Godslayers? That's just what outsiders call us!"

"We are opponents of the Gods' tyranny, Enlighteners illuminating the All Heavens and Myriad Realms."

"You, too, once accomplished the great feat of Godslaying, so you should know how weak those aloof Gods truly are."

"You shouldn't be a lapdog of the Gods; you should be the morning star bringing hope to this world!"

"Join us, and we can help you achieve this goal!"

A sinister smile appeared on its lips, the Immortal Stone sneered.

"Enlighteners?"

"Your so-called 'enlightenment' means destroying hundreds of worlds and slaughtering billions of lives?"

Ignoring the oppressive presence of the black sphere, the golden light in the Immortal Stone's eyes grew even more brilliant.

"I don't understand great principles, but I have eyes, and I have a conscience."

Before the words even finished, the Immortal Stone struggled to stand again, throwing a punch at the black sphere.

Bang!

This time, the Immortal Stone's fist truly connected with the black sphere.

Under the twisted rules Power of the Ascender, the gravitational field's repulsion on the Immortal Stone was reduced to the weakest.

"You indeed are talented!"

Unexpectedly to the Immortal Stone, it clearly felt its fist touched the black sphere.

Yet the black sphere remained completely unmoving, silently dissolving that mountain-crushing force.

Staring wide-eyed in shock, the Immortal Stone launched another punch.

Bang!

Accompanied by another air-shaking shockwave, the Immortal Stone's second attack was similarly annulled.

"I told you before, my body is compressed matter."

"Even if your rules can warp the gravitational field, they cannot change my essence."

"Every one of your attacks is equivalent to attacking an entire world, and a maximally compressed one at that."

Gently rotating again, a wave of unusual space-time distortion began to emanate from the black sphere.

"Have you heard of a 'black hole'?"

"It's a special star that only appears in the 'Fallen Area'."

"Every star appearing in the 'Fallen Area' is a destroyed world, while a black hole is a conglomerate of countless destroyed worlds."

"Mass infinitely compressed, gravity warping space-time..."

"The closer to a black hole, the slower the flow of time and space."

"And you're so close to me now; what state do you think you're in?"

With a reminder from the black sphere, the Immortal Stone suddenly realized and glanced outside the pit.

Yet in just that short glance, the Immortal Stone saw the time flow outside the pit seemingly accelerated by millions of times.

The scenes of day and night flashed by in an instant, sunny and cloudy skies not even worthy of a faint imprint on the Immortal Stone's retina.

[I'm sealed in a time-still domain!]

Such a thought flashed through the Immortal Stone's mind as several days and nights passed outside.
